American Culture Shock | traveling back to the USA after 16 months abroad!

It’s been a year and a half since I moved to Spain and I got the chance to visit home for the first time!!! It was a bit of a culture shock going back to America because I’ve gotten so used to life in Spain! This video is a few of the things that took me by surprise when I went back to the USA!

0:45 In Spain give you free food in a lot of bars. if you ask for water in a bar it is free.

3 weeks ago ago a law was passed that if you ask for tap water they have to give it to you for free.

@@taylormitchell2130 You got the choice to drink water in street fountains all over the towns, for free. Ok isn’t a restaurant but you can drink water for free , too!!

@@taylormitchell2130You have to ask for tap water. But then, you have to know where are you. For example: In Madrid, better than bottled water. In Barcelona… stick to bottled water unless you like to drink your chlorine with a little water.

You cannot turn in red light in hole Europe: in most of the cases because the pedestrians has the right to cross streets when the cars are stopped in the crossing street in red. You can cause an accident! I grow up in Cadiz, and I have lived in Rota. I know a lot of cases of americans causing car accidents in Rota. Please respect the driving rules for the safe of everyone.

Why is the need to drive big cars? smaller cars less pollution!,, regarding fast food,,real name junk food not good for you in fact you can get Ill or overweight,,,not a big deal if your pump nozzle doesn't have a trigger to hold,,,, anyway overall there's a massive difference between USA and Spain,,, just think which one is healthier

La gente en España no como muchas amburguesas aunque sean mejores qué en USA. La comida basura, no tiene mucho futuro en España. Prefieren ir de tapeo o comer el menú del día que es más saludable. Y os cuento qué he vivido en Los Ángeles 25 años y nunca fui a un burguer. Prefería los tacos o el susie.

yo empeze a comer hamburguesas en Espanay volví a los ángeles y como mas de lo normal. No comemos hamburguesas si no salimos, pero tambien podemos hacerlos en casa y major que lo que venden. Mejor carne, de Bufalo. La hamburguesa, un invento turco, vino a alemania y termino en Estados unidos, con tantos alemanes que fueron. 25 anos en los ángeles wow, yo nací en los ángeles, y he vivido mas de 50, y me gustaría ir a Espana a vivir algun dia. Pero como la economía tiene problemas para el futuro, estoy pensando Australia. Muy lejos de todo los países.
