@@yousaywhatnow2195 ok, if you say so. The first episode of the series literally has him emptying a full clip into a toaster but I'll be like Roger and pretend.
Stan:because he knows he can get away with it, you want him to stop being a brat ya have to stop enabling him get tough, Francine:you're right you were right all along
I love when Stan shows intelligence, you know, like a CIA man would...Not that people can't be dumber when they're off the job, but sometimes Stan seems too stupid to work at MacDonald, let alone the CIA. I know that's the joke but still.
Well they’re all like children in their own right. Look at Bullock. But when it comes to being a CIA Agent even the episodes where part of his training is a joke he shows he’s a competent CIA Agent. They just keep handing him mulligans
@@TheZipperDragon I get what you're saying and I mean no disrespect, but I just can't comprehend it. I couldn't imagine trying to look at the comedy in this shows from a place of logic
"But sometimes the things we take for granted disappear, and we can never get them back." Out of context, it sounds like she's thinking about leaving Stan

While I don't think American Dad has fallen as far as Family Guy has, I do miss the early seasons when Stan was actually intelligent, competent at his job, and would put Roger in his place. I still enjoy the show but it feels like he's become an incompetent pushover.
American Dad is one show from Seth MacFarlane in cartoon form I can still stand to watch. Family Guy fell off its perch years ago and is still a headache to watch while American Dad keeps my spirits up.
He's making a point. She finally learned to stop enabling Roger. Don't you pay attention? Sometimes to get humiliated is the only way to learn and be humble.
