American customs, traditions, and celebrations are frequently adopted in Latin America. For example, Halloween, aka “Noche de brujas,” which is not to be confused with Day of the Dead, has become popular among kids.
Even the Super Bowl, the second most American tradition, next to fighting a stranger over a TV in during Black Friday, is starting to be celebrated, with some people in Latin America throwing parties for the «Big Game».
But there’s one custom that, although it seems appealing, has been mostly shunned, and I’m referring to the American style of dating.
