Villa Escudero was amazing! We were told by many people that we needed to visit there. We were so glad we did. Everything was so much fun and so awesome!
To start things off, we loved riding the wagon pulled by a carabao while listening to live, traditional Filipino music. Then, we discovered the recreation room with foosball, air hockey, and classic video games. After playing, we decided to go swimming even though it was raining and was cold. The kids had a blast. JoeJoe had so much fun carrying the GoPro and taking each of us along on adventure through his eyes.
Lunch was amazing. The authentic Filipino food was delicious. The coolest part was eating underneath a waterfall. We literally walked through water up to the kids' knees to get our food and then sat at a table with a river rushing underfoot. The boys had a blast playing in the waterfall. After lunch, we discovered their Jeepney, frogs, and more.
One of the highlights of the day was the performance. It was so well done! They danced, sang, played traditional drums and music, and had one of the bet performances we have seen. The dances were from all across the Philippines and gave us a taste of the fun and culture of this beautiful land and people.
Along with everyone else, we highly recommend Villa Escudero Plantations and Resort to anyone and everyone!
