American Father and Son REACT to Trying Filipino Food First Time 

Just have to say that George and Lucy are very much loved here. I've followed them (though on and off) since they first came here before the pandemic. They traveled to so many places here, a lot of them we Filipinos didn't even know about like Calaguas Island for example. I think they were the first foreign vloggers who featured it. And also the Mt. Pinatubo crater hike which was epic. They bought a condo in BGC then got stuck here during the pandemic. And i think that was also the time Lucy got pregnant, so their son Koda was actually conceived here. Such a lovely couple who have helped a lot in promoting our country. ❤

It's pretty awesome that they invited their parents to share their experience of the Philippines 😊 George & Lucy (and lil Koda) are nice, warm, and really eager to experience the culture. Hoping you guys will also enjoy your time here 😊

hi dad and j. im frm the Philippines and so glad that you have come to like to react to videos about our (my) country i heard that you are coming over by november here and its cool. but i just hope that before coming over, you already have plans and have contacts to guide you as to where you should stay in every place you intend to go first. as you already know , there are several islands here that are so inviting as you watch them in videos but please take note that it is not that easy to travel from one province to another because most of them are travelled thru small planes and i recommend that you would set to lower your expectations because i wouldnt want you to be disappointed once you are here esp when it comes to the prices of foods and accommodations. those videos you were watching and reacting to were taken 4 years ago during and before the pandemic. but as you know that in 2022 russia attacked ukrain and that added to the devastation that covid 19 which caused the inflation to rise and businessses to close.. and altho the philippines is now the no.1 rising economically in asia still the cost of living here has risen to 50% to even 100% more than pre covid annd pre russia and israel war era. the prices of food and hotel rooms went up as well as travelling thru planes became more expensive than before. so having 100dollars won't last you for a day if you plan to eat good food and stay in a nice places esp in the city and if you plan to stay in nice beaches resorts. So please save a lot while you are waiting for nov.. and lastly.. our beaches are really good but are so vast so prepare good cameras and drones in order to really capture them because it will take you more than two weeks at least just to go from one beach to another in palawan alone. i also recommend you to try and visit the northern philippines because it is just as exciting as the south.

I've been a subscriber to Juicy for a while. I even offered to build them a chair for their condo (though I don't think they ever saw the comment LOL). You should react to them trying Filipino alcohol.

The Juicy Vlog George and Lucy I am their subscriber since 2019, I enjoy their vlog here in the Philippines featuring different kinds of Filipino foods and places, they used to have a residence in BGC and I think there is also one in Makati City, I just don't know if they still live there after they come back in the UK and they came back here in the Philippines.

Sometimes I forget that all the simple and nice things in life are already here in my country - simple quick getaway to the beach, bonding with family and friends in every occassion and good food. Thank you D&J for reminding me that I don't need to go that far to appreciate that I am lucky to be in a country where even though money is hard to come by, the places and people are worth it. And delicious food too!

You should try Philippines buffet, eat all you can resto. It's a must if you're a tourist here. There's loads of choices too.

Those are most popular menu here in Phil.Thnx Gb!..

The juicy vlog has been in and out of the Philippines. They are lovely couple who are really in love with the country. That place they are staying in this video is really expensive, but I think it’s worth it.

Lots of foreigners have been locked down during declaration of Pandemic wether they like it or not they could leave the country as there wasn’t any flights out of the country. They stayed and thought it was safe here than going to their homeland. Since then they keep coming back and live the life how it is to live in the land of of welcoming hospitable happy people.

During Pandemic they're here in the Philippines staying for more than 2 Years i think.

Just a background on the Juicy Vlog. George and Lucy learned to live in the Philippines because they were unable to go out of the Philippines when Pandemic started. They lived at BGC for like 2 years and they documented how the Philippines transitioned from Pre-During-Post Pandemic. Really touching that they still go back here after all those years 🙌🏻

It's tropical, so mosquito's rule! Bring or buy OFF!. So come for the night life, loud and noisy. While some come for the quiet, like a nice semi-secluded beach, a drink, the ocean and stars. Or get both if you go to the right place. When I first got back here from Texas, I weighed 242 lbs (about 110kilos). Now, due to my wife's great cooking, I weigh a steady 200 lbs (91kilos). Of course bc much less junk food, more fruit and veggies, and fresh meat. We're going to Pangasinan from Apr 8 to 12. It's about a 10 to 11 hr drive, ferry ride, then drive again. Why? Why not?
