These three very small, very religious and very close (like family&friends) islands all produce natural big boys who are made for the game Rugby and any other contact sport. These Polynesian, Melanesian, just "islander boys" are VERY MUCH used in the game of Rugby and they're, you could say distributed a lot around the globe within countries that play the sport Rugby. Countries like France, America, Australia, Japan, New Zealand will always have these Pacific boys on their team either playing for they're top clubs or representing their country.

You guys got the name down, like first try and you got the pronunciation right. Yes, he is Fijian born and like every Fijian boy from that island, he grew up playing Rugby and will continue to do so until retirement. Also, when you guys noticed another guy (number 7) looking quite big and then realising the two guys beside Tuisova are actually big dudes, that's Fiji for you, that's the Fiji Rugby team for you. Majority of those men started in Seven's and are now playing for some big clubs overseas, all of them are playing overseas in France, England and Australia. In the UK, there are woman’s rugby teams, so you could have a go. BTW there’s no separate offence or defence teams. There are specialist kickers, scrum and line out players, but everyone has to have a go at offence and defence. That’s what makes it so good. There’s no stopping every 10 minutes to change players or for adverts. The six nations competition is on at the moment. England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy and France. England not doing too well. Wales quite poor when they’re usually very good. But I can still support Ireland as mum’s Irish. I like watching Italy as the underdogs. The French? I never want them to win. Wales vs Scotland and France vs Ireland today. Italy vs England tomorrow. A big part of the national matches for fans is dressing up in national or silly costumes - so you’ll see lots of Welsh people dressed as leeks or daffodils, occasionally sheep - and all the supporters singing. England at Twickenham tickets are like gold dust.

Fiji rugby they are born with fast feet and tend to be fast! From 1 - 15 they all have incredible hand skills, unfortunately they lack discipline which ruins itfor them. Their 7’s team are the first Olympic Champs. Samoa are the other scary individuals and are renowned for tackles/ big hits. Rugby! No helmets, no padding, little or no stoppages a full 80 mins of non stop bang crash wallop, ruck, maul, line out, tackle, scrum get up and do it again. Unlike NFL. Rugby Fitness is off the scale

To answer your question- No, he nor have any Fijian Rugby players played football. I believe Football/NFL is only played in your country. A few(1-3 literally) Fijian ruggers did play football/soccer when they were in school. Then switched to Rugby.
