Thanks a lot for this video. I want to buy one of this and now it helps to find the right decision. I am from Germany. And because of the custom and transport costs I will buy it next year during my vacation in your beautiful country.
I own both and I find the reverse to be true for sizing. I’m 5’6” 185 pounds with a 49” chest, 38” waist and in sizing to fit my chest the American Giant fits flatteringly while the 10 year is still tighter in the chest and far longer in both body and sleeves. I agree with your comments on weight and the loose cuffs on the 10 year. I live in the AG and rarely wear the ill fitting 10 year. AG has a relaxed cut now that may accommodate some better.
I think the only one comparing both, great video. I just got the AG on medium and I'm also close to 174cm as you and 167 lbs. My brand new hoodie is way too baggy compared to yours. I'm wondering if when you washed it, you might have tumble dry it and it got shrunk?.
I own both but hardly use the American Giant for the same reasons. One thing id add is the hood is ridiculously large and wide. With the slim fit the proportions look off and its just plain goofy looking.
😮 as far as American Giant, the photos are so make model genaric, I want to see better view of pocket sizes and maybe an extra pocket. Same with the pants.
@@StrayReviews Well I'm happy I saw this review! I've been waiting months for the 10 year pullover to come back in stock because I thought for sure it was heavier. Just ordered my American Giant :)
I own two of the 10 year hoodies and a few American Giant hoodies. I find that the American Giant sizing is very inconsistent. I tend to wear the 10 year hoodies a bit more for this reason.
