When you live in Vilnius, most likely you gonna speak English and most likely you've heard American accent quite a lot from movies etc. However it's not often that you meet Americans, it's a bit weird when you see 'American accent' walking the streets same as myself. Weird in a good way. Hope you liked it here even if it's a small city.

Visited Vilnius in September and loved the architecture, food, and culture. Never expected Old Town Vilnius to have so many cool hip shops and restaurants along with numerous historical sites within the city. Made me very proud of my Lithuanian ancestry.

I keep meaning to take a drive down from Riga to Vilnius but never get round to it... it's really off the beaten track from the route to Warsaw-Berlin-Calais-Dover-home... Have you indulged in the Euro Dog yet from the local Circle K roadside service stations?

MXM I’ve only been to Riga and Vilnius. I also love Tallinn but Riga is my favorite.

I hope that this does not offend, but you are so beautiful! Moving along, as a Lithuanian, I have never heard of anyone in Lithuania eating beaver, and I never heard of game sausage. Maybe I led a sheltered life or something. Enjoy the rest of your stay.

What have you ate, that was definitely NOT traditional lithuanian food. It should be like "Cepelinai", "Žemaičiai" pancakes, "Šaltibarščiai" (cold) soup or smth like that.
