I hosted a Japanese exchange student and we got her to try a tim tam. She didn't bit into it, rather, she shoved the whole thing into her mouth. It was priceless. So funny. She loved it though. Took heaps back with her to give to her family.

The sprinkles used for Fairy bread I call Hundreds and Thousands, but I call other sprinkles just sprinkles, except for frosting sprinkles, those ones are the w o r s t.
Technically, in the US those specific sprinkles used in fairy bread are called nonpareils. But that’s used mainly by people knowledgeable about baking and cooking terms. Nonpareils are at least a type of sprinkles. Fun fact, in some parts of the USA (including New England where I’m from), sprinkles are called jimmies (but only the longer, strand like sprinkles).

America does have TimTams at every Walmart they have for the past 3 years at least I live in the middle of nowhere and they have them in at least 3-4 different flavors lol
Almost everything in life is 'trivial" but that does not mean they are not worth becoming excited about. Furthermore, people can't control when they feel excitement, fear or happiness, and everybody has different events that trigger these emotions. Another thing to consider is that what is trivial and what is no is purely subjective and not an established fact.

I'm not Australian but Tim Tams hold a special place in my memories of when my grandfather was alive and we'd bond over chocolate, Chess and me asking him questions about everything.........

the vegemite description reminds a lot of marmite, which is quite famous in the U.K (probably else where too, dunno), and I'm sure I've heard hundreds and thousands in England as well =D wonderful video!
nah Vegemite is the Australian version which is inferior than British Marmite. If you haven had either they'd taste the same but as a brit Vegemite mjust tastes wrong to me. I wonder if Joey Senpai has tried Marmite
Got too much time Lmao how can you tell if they're the same if you've never had Vegemite? I've never had Marmite but my mum's told me that Marmite is sweet and Vegemite is more salty (Vegemite isn't sweet at all lol).
They do taste different they are both made from yeast extract, Vegimite which is very Austraillian is made from yeast extract which mainly comes from plants but Marmite which is very british is made from yeast extract from beer yeast. If you like one then you'll taste the difference if you try the other but if you haven't had either they will only taste slightly different
Biggest mistake most others make with vegemite is they spread it on like it was peanut butter or jam. When first trying it put the TINIEST smear on toast .. like super-small amount.. Aussies put more on but .. when starting just put it on very thin, it's a strong flavour. Have a piece of cheddar nearby to possibly eat with the toast to cut the flavour. They complement each other nicely.
