Dear Aussies and Madison , North American's call them Chicken Sandwiches because that's what it is the Burger reference stems from Hamburgers because we shortened it to Burger. Calling a chicken sandwich a burger is wrong on so many levels it's not funny and Aussie's you get most of your slang from the USA so please try and get things correct.

Normally we don’t like it cause it’s like sibling rivalry and there’s certain things that are very different that people from other countries don’t notice. That’s why sometimes there’s strong feelings of “dont try and compare us”. I wasn’t offended in this. We do call McDonalds Maccas as well, and I think alot of our fast food is the same/similar (definitely different to the US). We do have Burger King though (Hungry Jacks I’m pretty sure is only Australia), and no Red Rooster like Jess said we might have. Our main ones would be Maccas, BK, KFC, Subway, and Wendy’s (which is burgers and other things, not too sure as I don’t really go there).

we got an Oreo mcflurry, m&m McFlurry, we used to sell a caramello McFlurry with like caramel and chocolate pieces and atm we have an apple pic McFlurry available which is apple pie pieces and caramel sauce. I don't know if other states have different ones but yeah!

And was started in Western Australia in the 70's.. before spreading around the country under the name Big Rooster In the early 90's it was changed to Red Rooster but still operates as Big Rooster in Papua New Guinea That's the only international version we have atm. New Zealand did have some in '04 but they closed down in '09.. I guess they didn't like it enough
