Only Aussies understand and it would make any Aussie proud when it’s about our country because America gets all the spotlight and attention the rest of the world including us gets nothing on the media
We loved doing this for you guys - you two are so much fun. I had no idea of the antics before I walked through the door ;). Thanks for having Church Mouse Cheese part of your journey of Australian food.
The aussie slang never ceases* to confuse me haha and I live in the UK, we're not so different. ALSO, am I the only one who had a thought cross their mind when Gabe said "I have now tasted Australia"....... and I just looked at Jess. [I am so sorry lol I know it's not appropriate but I laughed at this in my head for five mins hahaha]
So catching up it’s been like 6 years😬😬😬 I watched you guys everyday when you first got married! “BUT FIRST, COFFEE” days. Then life happened! I’ve had two baby girls of my own, bought a house, all the adult stuff! Got busy and no time to watch RU-vid… Jess pops up randomly today on my snap about her baby is 1 next month…um they had a baby!!! So I’ve been binge watching the past couple years of your videos!!! Congratulations you two on everything! And baby girls are the freaking best!!! I have a 5 year old and two year old! Loves of my life! I’ll have to keep watching!
This is why I hate Aussies dating and having kids with Americans go ahead and date a controlling freak and Brit or a Canadian should of been the person she married and had a kid with
We have chicken parmesan in the 🇺🇸 it’s not a pasta, it’s the chicken (prepare/cooked that way). It comes with pasta 🍝. Love that you guys (Gabe 😂) are trying new things. ❤❤❤
Hey Jess, Chicken Parmesan in America... not wrong, just different. also its not a pasta dish, you may see pasta as a side dish with chicken parmesan, you might have been thinking chicken fettuccine.
I actually think I might have the same phobia. And it didn’t get really bad until I was pregnant… when my son has anything in his hands and he gets with a few feet of me, I always flinch and somewhat panic inside. 😂
I’ve never related to Jess so hard with the sharp objects feeling like it hit you eye! I have such a hard time shopping because I can’t walk past the clothes racks without feeling it in my eye. It’s also always my right that feels the sensation! I’ve always thought I was crazy!
I feel it too! Yes community, lol. But I’m not that severe. Also I always attributed to my brother because when we were younger he would poke my eyes when I was asleep 😐😂
Love this video. Jess absolutely loved the sausage roll - don't know that I can remember another video of Jess just loving food as much as she did this one. Just awesome!
So funny as a fellow kiwi I had to stop myself from getting annoyed when the pavlova was brought out even though I only eat it at Christmas too and not my fave😂 Also agree with Gabe, always avoided fairy bread at parties and went straight for the sausage rolls and cheerios 🤣
As an Aussie, I could not stomach emu, crocodile or kangaroo…just not right. Can’t believe Jess has never tasted pavlova, best dessert in summer. Bunnings sausage in bread with tomato sauce is the best and fairy bread belongs at children’s birthday parties. 😊
Jess went to town on the first two dishes she was about to bite it before Gabe! 😂 When Gabe made the chicken sound while eating the 🐊 I screamed! 🤣 Also, Gabe what Australian tattoo artist did you trust with your latest and what did you get? It looks so crips from what I can see!
Very fun video... I tried Crocodile in SA and it tasted to me like Pork & Chicken mixed but good... And lamington in SA is called "Ystervarkies" translated to English it's Porcupine.... Weird world... 🤩😂
Fun fact: in the Netherlands they eat Fairy Bread as well, just for breakfast actually 😅 and often they would use chocolate sprinkles instead of colorful ones
I was looking for a comment like this 🙌. We do have a coloured version called ‘vruchtenhagel’ but it’s not as popular and different from the one Jess and Gabe have here 😊
