As an American southerner I must say Tom Cruise actually nailed the accent. The southern accent is always so exaggerated in films and for some reason always delivered with a drawl like from the 1890s or some crap that sounds ridiculous and nothing like how we really speak. This was actually good. Great job, Tom!

@@edmundkemper1625 I think his parents were but he grew up in New York, Canada and Ohio. I'm sure his parents had the accent though so you're right, that would basically be how he learned to speak. I don't hear it at all in his regular speaking voice though. Never really caught an accent from him outside of films. This was a good movie of his.

The saddest and most shameful thing about this story is that everything is TRUE. Yup: Our country, USA, bought tons of Cocaine from Pablo Escobar and then, introduced it into the territory of the United States with the help of the CIA and the Pentagon.
