Black pegasus is basically doing on his channel what we are all doing all day long: Watching reactions to ren songs. Only difference is: He is doing it with his guests.
I love your multiple reactions to Hi Ren. It's incredible to see all these professionals opinions and admiration. But equally I love it because this isn't really a song I would just listen to. The video adds a lot. And you need to see/hear it multiple multiple times to fully appreciate it.
And it also allows to experience and learn some new stuff. Like the wisdom nugget about quiet fast flow. Every guest has their own perspective and notices different aspects. It is really cool. I do appreciate it. Also a smart move, it's like reaction channel within reaction channel. Nice balance between new and familiar.
I love your reactions to their reactions. You are basically us! We want to see if reactors react the same way we do. So we can relate so much with how you are feeling, that anticipation wondering if they will laugh at a part, or be stunned at another. Then your excitement when you learn another new thing you didn't think about last time or your validation when someone else doesn't know what busking is😂. Blitz needs to come again so you can ask him about mushy peas lol
I don't think I am capable to getting tired of ren reactions. U could do the same song 10 times and every reaction is different. Keep blitz coming in. Maybe u can get him to freestyle too. Peace and love ❤
Its commendable what you are doing for artists like Ren and Harry Mack when introducing professionals in the industry to them. You're a bad ass for what you're doing!🔥🔥🔥🔥
I gotta say you do a really good job letting your guests experience what you're showing them. I typically hate watching reactions where one person has already seen/heard the material because they'll step all over the reaction. You do a great job letting your guest breathe and experience it themselves. You don't provide your input until they've provided theirs, and you try to keep their experience as fresh as you can. Keep it up!
“Hi Ren” is art of transcendent beauty and an *important* song. Artists often struggle with imposter syndrome. There’s a movie starring Olivia Munn called “Violet” that rings of this and was a transformative experience for me… just as this song also resonates. As a person who’s never been able to escape imposter syndrome and negative self-talk, *realizing* that I can exert the strength that destructive voice questions-strength that I *know* I have-was sooo important. It takes time to push past the negativity-to make your own voice stronger, but if anyone out there is struggling with this, please please please *know* that you can do it. *Know* that I believe in you… but you don’t need me to-just like you don’t need the shroud of doubt that feels first of protection and then as a prison. You are *stronger* than that voice. You are stronger than you can *possibly* know… until you push back with softness or aggression-your choice.
CNN couldn't be more wrong. This song, this video, this performance, it makes not being okay, okay. And a lot of us have needed that message sent out, for years or decades. I am so unbelievably grateful to him for his honesty and sharing his unreal talent.
Ahhhh man, sometimes I can watch 'Hi Ren' and not cry, today was not that day. Loved having Blitz with us today. Good to meet you brother. This is a MASTERPIECE, the connection this has with so many is undeniably powerful. Created an awesome community of people who have each others backs, and most importantly this gift called Ren's back. Supporting independant artists is so important. It's critical for an artist to express their art the way they want to. Never is free speech so important when the words smack these facts and absolute truths. #Ren changing the world and creating unity. Peace and love to you and yours #BP, to #Blitz, and to all my fellow BP members too 🇦🇺🐨
Watching his face as he was pulled in... as he identified with Ren... That's the power of a good story teller, of a good artist.... of Ren. In 9 minutes, he was able to reach across various genres and touch us.
I've watched this video around 2317 times. Something that just recently hit me was the possibility of this being of 3 entities in this song. You have the 2 steady cams for Ren and The Negative. When the cam goes to freehand, that is Hope stepping in. The lights, we know, flicker when The Negative speaks. In the end, the lights flicker even tho Ren/Hope are at the wheel. This shows all 3 walk together and all 3 are 1.
One of the things I love about this piece of Ren's is the way the video and the music coordinate to share the message. At first, the lights flicker when "dark Ren" is present, and the guitar is sharper and heavier. When "light Ren" is present things are softer and the lights more constant. But at the end when he's standing and singing, the lights are flickering even though it's ostensibly light Ren - his song is a message of balance and learning to accept all sides of yourself including the dark half, and at the end he's triumphant and whole with both light and dark Ren acting in concert.
Loved this reaction bring blitz back he was so respectful and fun. Ren has many younger fans but I'm 62 and like all types of music from all decades butren is a breath of fresh air. UK nanny
I LOVE these reactions you are doing with introducing new people to Ren. You are easily my favorite to watch. Keep it up! Can't wait to see you interview Ren. ❤️
I would like to see you more often show your guests "The tale of Jenny & Screech" by Ren. IMHO those 3 songs are showing all the strength of Rens performances al best.
You hit the nail on the head. We love watching people who love what we love. Make sense? That’s why this is working. I watched Blitz closely, he was awed by Ren and you could tell.
Have Blitz back for more Ren reaction videos. I like it sometimes when the first timer wants to watch it all the way through sometimes, and then wants to go back to certain parts of the video to talk about what was happening at that moment. But I understand the desire to hit pause, so you can discuss what you just saw and heard. It would be cool if you could invite Ren down from Canada ( I think that he is still there ), have him talk about his music, and maybe have him do a couple of reaction videos with something he hasn't heard yet. Also, I would love to see someone take the time to get Ren's life story about how his Lymes Disease was misdiagnosed as mental illness, and was put on medication that just made matters worse, and actually caused mental health issues. I would love to hear how he finally got diagnosed correctly, and how he got back on the road to get better. Best wishes to all. Take care, @wolfcrane aka Jamie
I had replied to my comment above, regarding Ren, and came back to see if anyone replied. The comment wasn't here, and at first I couldn't figure out why, but then I realized I included the link to his interview on another RU-vid channel, and I "think" that is against RU-vid rules? I am sorry about that. My memory isn't great, due to my multiple disabilities, and I also sometimes tend to ramble, and go off on tangents. I can't remember everything I posted, I know that I was talking my personal interests in music, some ideas for Ren to be on a certain TV show, and maybe he could do something with a well known singer and actor, a collaboration of some kind. I believe in Music Therapy, and I find that it helps me when I am in pain, or suffering. It's one of the very few things that can help me get my mind off of what I am going through. @Black Pegasus, I am sorry for making my mistake, and wondered if the post is still visible to you? If so, can you delete the link, and then post it? I can't remember everything that I typed, and I made a mistake in not copying to my clipboard what I typed, before I clicked on submit ( it's a good habit, just in case there's some sort of tech problem, especially when your memory is getting worse ). I'd appreciate it. I know that most people won't even see it, but maybe you, and Ren, and some of your other guests will. Thanks again. Take care, @wolfcrane aka Jamie
Check out Ren and Sam doing blind-eyed ft the angry parking attendant. It's so much fun, you'll love it. Even in live chaos they can keep making great music.
Would love to see Blitz back. I really found your channel because Ren mentioned you in a live chat. I truly appreciate your guests and love watching your expressions while they are watching. Keep it going.
I'm with you in sharing first reactions to HI REN. Can't get enough! Yes, bring back Sir Blitz, one choice I'd like to see (there are soooooo many, right?) is Bongo Bong---the one on the roof. Thanks for what you bring to these, BP!😁
Plus it’s great that the first time you listen to it, it’s so chaotic and you aren’t sure what will come next. Then when you listen to it again it completely fits together and makes total sense.
Bring Blitz back. Do The Big Push I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip hop, Humble featuring Eden Nash, and Ren What You Want or Ren Losing It (Fisher Rap Retake)!
There is a lot more subtlety to many aspects too, Like the lights: Their relative sizes, their positions, the shadows they cast and how they interplay, plus the brightest, unseen point source and the starker shadow it casts... and the timing of the use and framing of all of these elements, appear to be carefully and intentionally choreographed. At every level, this is an absolute masterpiece.
New member from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. ✌🏼👋👋🦘🦘🦘🇦🇺First time ever being a member on a RU-vid reaction channel too. I love that you bring friends in the music business around and take them on the Renrollercoaster! I’m a sucker for Andiroo’s reactions and now Blitz! Such a cool, nice guy. Bring him back in *cough* blueb@##s lmao loved the irreverence of that episode. Cheers, mate! Thanks for making such fun reactions that literally make me laugh. 🔥🔥🔥
That video is so good but it doesn’t have as much Ren for the deep dive. I think Sweet Little Lady (live) would be a good choice, they have a lot of original music
Keep entertaining us w/all your guest, they all have something to share that is unique to you,us & them. I think its badass that we all get something from it.Thank you all for sharing.
The viewers are always up for more Ren.. ❤ we all wish we could experience the magic again for the first time! 😂 Watching others experience it is crazy entertaining 😅 I just never want them to go away and listen to more so you can bring them back (I’m selfish like that 🤪)
I got teary watching Blitz at a certain part, right before the Ren stops rapping and starts singing, Blitz’s face starts to crinkle up and he looks like he’s about to lose it… I’ve watched this video about 40 times probably, and it still hits me right in the heart. Especially when I witness someone else getting hit too.
Loved Blitz!!! His rapping was phenomenal on the spot there! Loved it. Hope you bring more of Blitz, Andiroo, and more 😁. Thanks BP, can’t wait to see what is next!
Just wanted to drop a quick note about something I realized in the video. There are many Easter eggs. When he talks about “the more intensely the light shown, the darker the shadow it casts”. Check out the shadows on the ground between the two during the performance. Dope.
Loved this one! Thanks for all you do to support the musical creators. Very selfless of you and is a true testament to your gracious nature and love of the art. Yes, please bring Blitz back for The Big Push. Let’s do not only them busking and covers, but one of their original joints. I really like the live acoustic version of Sweet Little Lady.
I ❤ watching you introduce a wife range of people to Ren. He is truly the most talented artist of this generation and fully deserves the recognition. Maybe one day someone from ur show will have an idea for an awesome project with Ren that will give him all the recognition and fame he deserves.❤❤❤ From a renegade!
Blitz needs to come back for more Ren!!! And, you're right!!! My favourite thing is seeing people react to amazing music for the first time!!! This Hi Ren series you're doing is fire!!! I'm in for it all the way you can go!!!
LOVE bringing ppl in the industry with Ren and HMack. You are doing a great job of just letting the reactors time to wade into some thoughtful stuff - and as you say 'your cool' guests are fucking talented and its awesome to hear reactions from ppl who wouldn't have the time to do a R channel.
Thanks, BP, once again you have amazing friends. Blitz was great! Please ask him not to listen to more Ren until you can bring him back for another reaction.
Ren needs to have a DvD released because he is not just performing musically. He is acting and the atmosphere he does his performance in is essential to the entire piece.
