Ocean’s great. His debut track surpassed Eminem’s record of the time for most words per minute for a track or something like that-I don’t think it was official as Ocean’s track didn’t chart. His debut album is gold, lots of early 90’s influence particularly boom bap. ‘Brick or Bat’ and ‘Eye Contact’ are two of them. Eye Contact is probably the best track that shows how good his flow can be. Music video is corny but there’s a fun cameo. He’s done a couple stateside collabs, namely Meth and Freddie Gibbs and he’s done a lot of fun UK collabs of which 3 are with Dizzee Rascal and they’re all great. As someone who grew up being obsessed with hip hop from both sides of the Atlantic, Ocean is up there with the best of them, although, I didn’t really like this fire in the booth too much just because some of the lyrics are kinda nonsense.

I would dearly love to see a Black Pegasus/Canadian Dad Reacts collab where CDR helps introduce Black P to the UK Hip-Hop scene. Not Grime and Drill, that stuff is all out there and is pretty mainstream these days, but to proper UK Hip-Hop as CDR has become, in my book, RU-vid's best champion and even an archive of UK Hip-Hop both new and old and the fact he is North American and is a similar age I think he would really serve as an excellent gateway for you, not to mention he is a top geezer.
