I am a Pakistani Christian from Lahore, people from my country will treat you with love regardless of your religion..

Beautiful reaction video and comments, thank you Jim 🙏🏼 I appreciate the kind words and support ☺️ I need to do a video now explaining my process more in detail 🙃 I do have one that kind of does (I moved to northern Pakistan) this was just the artistic expression that came through, and tried to best to share my journey. In the beginning (of the video) I had a breakdown yes, I hit rock bottom. I suffered chronic Lymes disease for 20 years along with congenital heart disease and anxiety/depression. I was stuck in my house for months with anxiety attacks daily. Until one day- a good friend died. I thought if I died tomorrow would I regret anything. I could die of anxiety and pain or I can go live my life. Since I was 19 (my very first solo motorcycle tour) I always wanted to travel the world by bike. So that’s what I decided to do- I also saw the world differently, and wanted to document that and share it with people, so I started RU-vid and social media. The Pakistan journey why it was so profound, was that it was so difficult ( having chronic illness + generally how tough it is to travel here) it broke me wide open. I got to see myself, my true self, beneath everything. In addition to being immersed in Divine beauty/ being alone in those types of places is surreal, and being so welcomed by the kind people. It was a journey to my soul. And every person I met held a key. I’m not religious by any means, very far from. But choosing this path was really-a dedication for myself. To intentionally choose to awaken all parts of me and to dive deeper into my connection (with all) to heal myself. To which I am happy to say, I successfully healed my Lymes disease, just by simply learning to understand myself and to love every part of me.

She accepted islam, she found herself a nice pakistani guy, a fellow traveler and they got married.

You won't feel yourself as stranger in Pakistan. Whenever you or any American or Foreigner came to Pakistan. People of Pakistan will welcome warmly with open heart. As Islam teaches us that guests are blessing of Allah and it is duty of Muslims to take care of guests.

I am an indian muslim but Pakistan is a great and warm welcoming country. I love it ❤️ i also got more inspired from her story. She gone to some of the muslim countries and got to know and understand real islam rather then seeing after fake news of fox channel and others

So cops were following her because in last few years Govt. of Pakistan has made it a rule that every foreigner must have a security detail on them whenever they step foot outside for the sole purpose of the safety so they were shadowing her but since the situation is really good in Pakistan during last few years so most travelers get annoyed by the cops on them and they just tell them to move away and not ruin their fun.

Rosie found love in Pakistan too.Her husband Adeel is also a hiker and biker. I feel she was struggling inside and succeeded in discovering herself during this journey.

I have Many Christian families living in my Street area when I was a child and I still remember how we used to love watching the Santa claus parades in my city Karachi and they used to dance and celebrate the whole night before Christmas.. And those Fig cakes and treats.. lol.. You do not know how peacefully we all live together here & how loving the People of Pakistan are you must experience our hospitality if you ever come to visit .. ❤️😊🇵🇰

Now people from different countries came to visit or for vloging and most of them started living in Pakistan because of hospitality and loved by people of pakistan when you came to Pakistan no one litteraly no one charge any money for anything they just say you are our guest ❤

People generally confuse culture with religion, it's the mix of cultures here in Pakistan that makes it a special place. People live in harmony and have a mutual respect for each other. Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, all live in peace.

Rosie is a nice and kind soul. She became Muslim in Pakistan. I think she had travelled to the middle east before on her bike and learnt about Islam there as well and then in Pakistan I think it was kind of a completion. Pakistani people are very hospitable. Guests are considered gift from God so Rosie's experience is not atypical. The 5 star hotels will charge you but the street vendor seeing you are a foreigner will not. You should check out Mark Wiens Pakistan vlogs about food. He did an excellent series. I started cooking some Pakistani dishes again after like a decade. Equating Islam and being Muslim with terrorism is foolish. There are 1.7 + billion Muslims in the world. In the sub-continent the Islam that prevails the most is Sufi Islam. There is a definite extremist element that has done terrible things but they have also killed more Muslims than anyone else. They do not accept other Muslims to be true Muslims if they do not believe exactly as they do. Most of that arises from Salafi version of Islam which is rather new in Islamic world (couple of centuries old)

It’s so sad because 1/3 of Pakistan has been ravaged by floods and homes are destroyed. Whole cities are destroyed. There is a huge disaster crisis going on over there. Even one of the singers from Kana Yari Coke studio has lost his home due to flooding.

I have been living in US for the last 30 years and have met amazing Christians and Jewish fellow citizens. We are strange ......... we have our problems like corrupt politicians, foreign interventions and other stuff that has frustrated us and we do nasty things to each other ... sometimes But in general we Pakistanis are spiritual. Deep inside everyone has that spiritual soul that is covered with dust of frustration. I just wish we could have better political environment not just within but also internationally, so that entire world can see who deep inside we are.............Ameen!

Wow! Great videos by Rosie! I have travelled to Morocco several times because my husband is from there. Moroccan people are loving, kind and very gererous! We Muslims are content with this life ( it is so short to be sad or depressed so just be a good human being..especially toward your family , work hard for your dreams , do so many good deeds , practice Islam, be modest…etc no alcohol, no sleeping around, no drugs, no gambling, no interest..etc then we all will die someday but in peace ) That’s what a Muslim do good day or bad day you should be content nothing will be forever in this world .. we have a simple but strong believe (( some people hate us because the people of power who control media hate our believe ..they control so many industries with so much money and Islam is like no drugs or alcohol, or sex outside marriage , no interest, no gambling etc )) of course they will try to make it look bad.
