I worked for the agency that made that Nando's service dog ad. I think it was 99 or 2000. Nando's had a very small advertising budget, so they relied on controversial material to get free press. The agency actually reported the ad to the standards board themselves. Another fun stunt was when they managed to get added as a political party on a voting ballot one election year.
