What's the point of NOT pausing the video? The better reaction videos are when people don't talk over the video to give us their opinion -- their reaction. Just watch the original video if you do not want any interruption.

@ Football is in the biggest crisis ever, unfortunately... The golden age of football was in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s... now there are fewer and fewer real ballers, football artists and magicians, because money has been thrown into the game and now speed and strength are emphasized instead of beauty , techniques, dribbling and ball control... The only nations that still preserve real football and the beauty of football are - Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Portugal and tghe rest of South America countries... And teams like Barca surpass everyone, then River Plata and other Argentinian clubs, Benfica, BVB, as well as coaches like Pep Guardiola, Pochettino, Arteta etc... But football will win again!!!

Argentina won the World Cup in 1978 and 1986. As Messi was always a top player and had won so many championships with Barcelona, Argentinians expected him to bring another trophy for the country. Messi played 5 World Cups, the first 4 Argentina was not the winner, even getting twice to the finals. This led to some parts of the Argentinan press saying things against him, that all he cared about was the money he made in Barcelona, that winning for Argentina wasn't important for him, etc. But he never gave up and in 2022, he finally did it on his 5th World Cup.

Following Messi's career has been like watching a 20 season long drama series, that had the best possible ending. (Winning the World Cup) Btw Barca's home kit always have red/blue. But their away kidts can be anything. Black, pink, yellow, teal. And yes, new kits every season.
@marcuswolff5565
@marcuswolff5565 11 месяцев назад
Every club has their base colors for their home kit, with the design being updated every season (easy way for the clubs to keep making money and staying modern). Every club also has an away kit (and the majority even a third kit) with different colors from the home kit. These also get updated every season, but can change colors all the time, so you don't know what you're gonna get before the season starts. This makes for some really cool (and some not so cool) designs over the years :)

When Ronaldo fans state “Messi had better teammates” is actually so hypocritical because they seem forget the team mates Ronaldo had throughout the years such as: ( Beckham, Vidic, Van der sar, Rooney, Park, Ferdinand, Evra, Giggs, Scholes) Man United 2008 RealMadrid ( Modric, Kross, Casemiro, Ozil, Raul, Sergio Ramos, Kaka, Xabi Alonso, Iker, Navas, Di Maria, Pepe, Higuain, Guti, Gareth Bale) People forget because all they can remember is Barcelona’s prime which i dont blame because that Barca team changed how people viewed football in every way shape and form. React to Messi in Copa America 2021. It was his first major honour with Argentina (he also won the U-20 WC and Olympics, but those are less significant) and the first major trophy for Argentina since 1993, so it was a massive thing for the whole nation. Messi dominated and was the player of the tournament, top scorer, top assister, top in chances created, had most successful dribbles etc. The following year he completed his legacy by winning the World Cup. He had lost four finals with Argentina (World Cup 2014 and Copa America 2007, 2015 and 2016) so to win it all at the latter part of his career is so sweet!

Kits work like this: Every season a team releases a minimum of two kits, a home kit and an away kit. Home Kit (also called First kit): this is the kit you use almost always when you are at home, in your stadium. this kit will more often than not have the main colours of your club (Newcastle home kit is always white and black stripes). Away kit (second kit): this is a kit that needs to be extremely different from your home kit, so as to give the team the chance to have two diametrically different kits for different opponents. There are thousands of teams in the world, and some may have club colours that are the same and may have to play each other. An example of this is Inter Milan and Atalanta, two teams in Italy who's colours are black and blue. If there were no away kits it would be almost impossible to distinguish players in Inter - Atalanta. Last season Atalanta's away kit was white, so in Inter - Atalanta Inter wore blue and black home kits, Atalanta wore white kits. There's more weird rules about kits, but you don't need to know them in too much detail There are also more kits, these are the third and fourth kit and are almost always made for collection/fashion/special occasion purposes. Hope this helps

There have been many greats in football, but they've only remained on top for 1, 2, maybe 3 years. Messi and Ronaldo went back and forth for 15+ years. It was always one of them. In spite of that, Messi is a much better player than Ronaldo, because Ronaldo is only comparable to Messi in goals. But Messi is also the best playmaker and dribbler. I don't actually believe in statistics to judge a Footballer. Statistics don't include the space a player creates, the initiation of attack, the diversion of attention, a cross that is so high level but only considered as a cross on paper. Messi from 2011 was already considered GOAT because of this. There are people that said he needs statistics and World Cup just like Pele and Maradona. After his 18 years of Torment including being hated by his own nation Argentina, he now tops in : Highest Statistics Highest Trophy won (with World Cup) Highest Awards Won Highest Man of the Match Highest Player of the Tournament I don't know what he needs to be known as GOAT now. He is the greatest if you watch him. If you want on paper, he is the greatest there too. An Example of inhuman. There will be no one like him, atleast not until next generation

Correction, it wasn't that he was hated by his nation. The majority of us have always loved him unconditionally. It's the difference in his experience with the National team compared to his Barcelona career that lead to extreme criticism born from high expectations, especially from sports media. It's like comparing his PSG experience to his Inter Miami one. Also comparable to the world wide reception too, because while Messi is widely loved, he also has his detractors. So yeah, I just wanted to clarify this because we Agrentine know better than anyone how hard his experience with the national team got at times, but the nation didn't hate him. If anything, the teams devotion to Messi is representative of how the people feel for him.
@gginfuser7157
@gginfuser7157 10 месяцев назад
@@MademoiselleRed1390 It's good to know that. I saw a lot of news channels, inluding argentines posting a lot of critics. The squads were always full of individual players who were shining with their club. Still Messi gave his best which was the only reason they played several finals so I was sad to see that. Talk shows like Sid Seixerio said a lot just cause he was winning silver instead of gold. It just pisses me that while Maradona coached 2010, he was not blamed at all for that coaching. I love Maradona but he seemed a lot doubtful of Messi, his own nations player that rejected Spain to play for Argentina just like his Idol maradona. He pulled no punches. Messi is introvert and he just can't be that violent or expressive. But introvert needs much emotional support than extroverts. Sorry for what I am going to say, I prayed Argentina never wins the world cup in this century. Untill I saw how they respected him in World Cup.

"El clasico" is the head to head match between two of the best clubs in spain or arguably the best clubs of all time in Real Madrid and Barcelona! Whenever these 2 teams face each other it was the biggest stage in World club football, no matter in which competition they face each other. So being a teenager scoring 1 goal in this match is an lifetime dream and a big achievement for any player just for the amount of pressure and history this duel has. Leo Messi scored a hattrick in this game against their rival Real Madrid, which had so many legends and experienced players at that time. The match ended 3-3 and Messi scored all 3 for Barcelona! But I can swear 95 percentage of Argentina squad were not known till their championship. All were in middle clubs even some of them even couldn't be in start squats of clubs.. however Portugal players had much more practice as they came from better teams.. But my point was not about trophies and awards as we know Lio has most, the thing was that. Messi wasn't compared to CR till 2014, he was undisputed till his injury and 2014 WC.

I'm Chilean, for us (and especially in recent times) Argentina has been our biggest rival; we have a decent relationship as neighboring countries, but we DON'T have a good relationship when it comes to football.. what I want to say with that is that I'm not biased at all, that said; Messi is by far the greatest player that has ever played this beautiful game, no questions asked. Ronaldo is obviously an amazing player, one of the bests, but Messi is in a different universe. Nobody makes the game look as effortlessly easy as Messi does, Ronaldo likes to make stuff look complicated, which is fun to look at, it's entertaining, everybody likes flashy skills or flashy goals for sure.. but a true master is the one that does the exact opposite; make something hard look easy. Messi dribbling 1v5 against some of the best defenders in the world, making them look like toddlers, is something ONLY HIM can do; he's special, we'll probably never see anybody else play like him.

Ronaldo can do things that looks impossible and very hard to replicate, like scoring thunder goals from distance or pull off incredible high jump to do headers. while Messi do things that are also extremely difficult but make it look so easy. the way he dribbles past 2, 3, 4, 5 people is insane, it may look easy if you dont play football yourself or dont watch football often, but its near impossible if you try. the most skillful players in the world can also do it once in a while and if they lucky it would lead to a goal. but Messi has done it dozens and hundreds of time throughout his entire career consistently for 16, 17 years now. and that is just one aspect of his game. He doesnt even have to score goals to be the best player on the pitch, but he still scores constantly anyway. There will never be anyone else like him, im so blessed to have witness this man for a good 15 years of my life watching football, and still enjoying every second of his greatness till this day. The King, The GOAT, the one and only Lionel Messi.

Regarding your question about the uniforms, every year every team will have a new home kit, away kit and a third kit. Home kit is usually the variation of the traditional colorway for heritage, away kit is where you can boast creativity of your team, and third kit is for special occasions, usually club or city anniversaries. If you're seeing Messi wearing blue and red kit, it's 99% his home kit, and any other colorway would be away/3rd kit. Red and yellow is usually Barca's away kit because Catalan wants to be an independent state out of Spain and Barcelona is a city of Catalan. Red and yellow is the color of Catalan flag that holds lots of heritage. Another video I think you should watch (idk if it's okay to react to, might be copyrighted) is Copa90 story on Argentina in the World Cup (The Crazy Day Messi Saved His And Argentina's Legacy). This video helps you understand why WC is Argentina's most precious identity and why Messi was not considered an Argentinian by Argentinian and the complexity around that football culture. Following Messi is also following Catalan's seek for freedom, following tiki-taka (the attacking style that defines Barca) and following Argentina's craziness. That's why so many people are attached to Messi, because you get to be involved in so many cultures and subcultures that outline the greatness of him. It's like if you're a Jordan's fan, you have to understand Chicago and Nike and all that. It's a must watch.

Just watch more messi videos on youtube, you will understand why he is the GOAT. It's not just about stats, it's how he produced these stats. How he scored the goals, how he provided the assists, how he dribbled past 2,3,4,5 players. He is incredible. Just watch him play. No player does it like him. He is always in top 2 in almost every football category. Dribbles, assist, playmaking, goal scoring. Messi is always top 3. Ronaldo is about goals. Ge does not dominate the other aspects of the game like messi does. Messi is easily the best goalscorer and playmaker combined. That's t why he is the GOAT.

Several things that might be interesting to know. In football (non american one) most players actually already got scouted for a professional club at a very young age. Its quite normal for these players to already start training 4-5 times a week from the age of 10 at this pro clubs. Obviously making your debut at probably the biggest spanish club at 17 is insane, but thats why football players can be 16,17,18,19 when they make their debut. Also something which is good to know about the Messi Ronaldo rivalry is that they played for Barca and Real Madrid respectively. They were the faces of these clubs for many years and these clubs are considered the best clubs in spain and are also both up there for the best clubs worldwide. So you had messi ronaldo rivalry, but you also had the Barca Realmadrid rivalry (and the match between these two clubs is called ''el classico'' btw)

As for the World Cup. In European competitions Messi was compared to Cristiano, but in the World Cup Messi had to live up not to Cristiano, but to Maradona, arguably the best player of all times alongside Pelé. No one ever asked Cristiano to win the World Cup by himself, but everyone demanded Messi to do it. I won't say Messi is the greatest of all times alone. Football evolves over time. But I will die saying Messi is up there with Pelé and Maradona. Those 3 are above everyone else.

And he grew, he grew taller first so he would have a normal height, he grew stronger to overcome and avoid the injuries every athlete is exposed to -specially someone that dribbles and gets tackled as much as he does-, he grew as a footballer, to become the best in history, he grew out of his shyness and became the leader Argentina needed to win the Copa America and the World Cup after many year, and now he's growing older and getting closer to retirement and got me here trying to convince myself that it's fine, that he already gave me so much happiness, but man, I'm gonna miss seeing him receive the ball and get on my feet because I know something amazing is about to happen

People are so obsessed with "Messi vs Ronaldo" that they forget it was more important for Messi to get out of Diego Maradona's shadow. He has never made snide remarks unlike Ronaldo. I don't think he ever cared about the GOAT debate even in his mind. I believe he always had this burden to prove something for his country. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter who you are compared to or who considers you great if you are the most hated person in your own country. Imagine your own country men incessantly cursing you, giving you death threats, burning your jersey and what not. This was even more evident after 3 successive final loses, so much so that Messi decided to retire. Must have hurt a lot to see the entire world at your side apart from you own country. All this makes him winning 2022 world cup that much more meaningful Its not to end the "GOAT" debate. (Personally, I am a Messi supporter). Its that finally Messi came out of Maradona's shadow by wining everything for Argentina. We can see he is much more calm and relaxed now.

This is a cool concept for your videos! I enjoyed this. Messi is a one of a kind player, we most likely will not see anything close to him ever again. One thing this concept makes me think is there isn’t yet enough of a tradition or heritage to football here in the states. I grew up in LA, but my parents are Argentine and my dad is a die hard Boca fan. I got into football around the time Riquelme came back to Boca in 2007. I was the only one amongst my peers who was hyped or even understood what was happening at the time. Then again I was only in 7th grade, but nobody else my age knew what was going on in football. As I got older I realized most of the fans I did know are kids like me who were raised into other clubs from England, Mexico, Argentina, Germany etc I think kids in other countries are taught to grow up with love and pride for their teams. Here we got the MLS that is hella new so there may not be that generational connection a parent would pass onto his kids yet. There is the occasional spike in interest whenever international tournaments come around every few years in the summer. But we don’t yet have that rich footballing history other countries have yet - there are clubs in multiple countries that are 100+ years old - how old is the oldest club in the MLS? That heritage isn’t gonna come for a long time but Messi’s arrival will definitely make new fans interested in him and MLS, but the bigger implications are how the future generation of football players grow up. There are little kids right now who are super hyped for Messi, who will dig into his rich history and hopefully even learn to develop some of his game to theirs. US Soccer will grow immensely from his arrival at all levels and aspects imo.

It should never have been a debate. Messi was always better. Ronaldo had some years where he scored more and won more but Messi has always been the best bar none. Apart from the World Cup, Messi also won the Copa America, a highly prestigious prize he had not won yet and was really pressured to win it and boy did he deliver. He either scored the goals or assisted them. Strange thing is, Messi somehow was always expected and pressured to win the World Cup but you hardly ever heard that about Ronaldo. People who really understand football, who see the beauty of the game, who value footballing IQ and can look beyond which team or country they support and other biases, will and should always always realise that Messi is the best by far and that there should never have been a debate. Ronaldo's stats are amazing too but Messi does so much more on the pitch and makes the game more beautiful. Messi is a genius.

There are many attributes that are needed to be in contention. Messi has them in abundance Ronaldo does not. Haaland is a Ronaldo type player... Even Mbappe who is slightly more skilled than Haaland is mainly pace.. Time will tell how long they remain at the top.

Ronaldo has scored only 27 more goals or so than Messi despite being an out and out striker for most of his career and playing many times against lesser quality teams than Messi did. Ronaldo has played 140 MORE games than Messi but ony 27 goals more? Add to that the fact, that Messi has been awarded 48 penalty kicks, which he gave to other to take, 7 of which would have resulted in the completion of a hat trick, had he taken them himself. Messi is easily the superior goalscorer. The debate about who is the best, was manufactured by the media and fanatical fans.. It was never debatable at all..
