State of origin is an interstate 3 game series played between the STATES of QLD and NSW....often you have CLUB teammates playing on opposing teams..in fact BOTH captains are CLUB teammates..

@@CJ-nu7dp Having 1 less player on the field for 70 minutes is not the same as having a player get injured and having a replacement on the bench. You simply cannot win a game with 1 less player on the field for almost an entire game, especially not an origin game.

It was was 12 vs 13 for 74 minutes after that guy got sent off. They should have won by 60, but Blues did pretty well under the circumstances.

Ive watched heaps of games where players have been sent of i mean there was a Great Britain vs Australia game where Adrian Morley got sent off on the first tackle of the game and they almost won good teams can still win with one less player

If you kick the ball from inside your 40 meter and get it to first bounce before going over the side line in the opposition's 20 meter area without being touched, it's called a 40/20 and the team that kicked gets the ball back with a full set of six, 20meters from the opposition try line.

A 40 20 is when you kick the ball from 40 metres to 20 Metres then u regain the ball at the 20 metre mark

5:15 kick out of bounds is called a 40/20 meaning the ball is kicked from within the kickers 40 metre line & makes it's way of bounds over the sideline (having to bounce in play first.) beyond the receiving team's 20 metre line. If done successfully the kicking team is again awarded possession.

The best way I find to describe State of Origin is basically if California and Texas were to play each other in a best of 3 competition, but the players selected must of played junior football in that state to qualify.

"Baldie" was actually trying to break off the hold which Crighton(the guy in the head gear) had on him. He was holding him and it's actually legal to try to break off the offensive team player if he's holding onto you

NSW Played 90% effort for 60% of the Game. Billy Slayter is just 'that guy" coz the fact that he practicallly knew how he would utilise Selwyn Cobbo. The Hammer over Gagai last year was probably the best decision Slayter ever made.

That was not a dirty play. Walsh slipped, if he didn’t, Suaalii would of got him on his chest. Also should of been a 10min sin bin not a send off. Yes I’m NSW, my family is majority QLD but they also agree it should of been 10min not a send off. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can't win at this level being a man down for over 70 minutes. 13 vs 12 contant overlap all game. Pace is too fast & skill level is too good. Game was over when NSW player was sent off 10 minutes in.
