@@Trooper-tr6zi is that a sarcastic question? Taiwanese are the people from Taiwan. They speak Mandarin and Min Nan language (Almost similar to Hokkien from Fujian Province, China). The country is called Taiwan, or Chinese Taipei (just not to upset China who claims Taiwan belongs to them)

Shaqima (the first one) actually originated in Northern China/Manchuria. Don't know why it's considered a Taiwanese snack. Also, I'm not sure why, but every block of shaqima is required to have a singular raisin in it. :)

The color of the jerky is different because of the thickness of the meat and the way they were cooked. I make jerky at home as I don’t like much salt and the thinner pieces get that fake red look.

Fun story- When i was little I loved goldfish, and i was a little artist and liked to color on the walls so my mom painted my room with this chalk paint and we had yellow chalk. I liked to eat while i drawed. But me being a bit damaged and my preferals being damaged and blury from previous accidents, i just saw two handfuls of goldfish. I popped a goldfish in my mouth, stared at myself in the mirror for a little bit and then ate the chalk. I spit it out on the floor and never cleaned it up, because it was gross. Eventually somebody did though. :p and this is why i dont like chalk and hold things out in front of me now- Thanks for coming to my ted talk
