Idk why I thought this song was in heartstopper lol. I think both the song and the show came out the same day. But gosh this song is so beautiful. I thought 23 was gonna be a great year for me and it was pretty shitty. Then I discovered Ethel and this song and I was like “bruh, this is so me rn. It’s just not my year but I’ll fine” I’m so grateful for her. She deserves the world

I don’t think she realizes the impact of her music. People are feeling seen, heard, and definitely included. Me being one of them. As a young trans woman who grew up in Oklahoma, this song floods my body with nostalgia. This song is a prayer to my inner child
