This is one of the coolest things I've seen but seriously this has got to be the smartest farmer in the world hold an equipment parade where everyone plows the field
Great very nice stay blessed. These machines hold emotional and sentimental values for the owners to be passed to future generations in the family. So these are kept from the inner Heart.
Amazing seeing that lineup of power but it looks like the gas tractors never really caught up to the big steamers till the late 1950’s in total power. And that sound of steam, wow!
By the late 1920’s Steam was seldom used but gas and diesel powered tractors were still small compared to the old steamers, from what I have read, I really want to know more.
I love the spinning governor on top. I think that these steam tractors also doubled as threshers. There was an attachment that they mounted on the side.
The steam engines had a PTO on the side that was used to power many different tools. The most interesting attachment I've seen is the cotton picker that IH had available. It sat on top the tractor and the tractor drove in reverse.
Эта современная америка, братан! Как же они от нас россиян отстали!!!! Пойду на край деревни, сейчас наверное из города будка продовольственная приедет хлеб , воду и пойло привезёт.
Yeah, Theo, The wussy diesels can't pull as many bottoms as these guys and the go only a little faster. It takes about 5 tractors to do what one of these guys can do. Why in hell doesn't case start building these things again. These guys are not built for speed, they just get more done in less time. People talk about pollution. Not nearly so much per acre from the big Case steam jobs. And those dmaned diesels are noisy things. If you are going to make noice give me a John Deere any day.2 on Sunday if you please.
Love the steam Traction engines but why is the west STILL plowing the soil ? No Till, and I mean ACTUAL no Till farming is by FAR better for the soil. and Produce.
