Hey bro, you should have hooked up with all the Americans here to show you around and take you out. I'd say bro, you would have had a more enjoyable experience. There are maori in america and even my own family are there. When they know one of their own is in town (in america) they greet each other at the airports to welcome them in. Just a thought for next time if you come back.

Should of had a Steak & Cheese. Nothing else counts. Mobil has crap pies (besides the Steak & Cheese). BP has great Bacon and Egg pies, because they add cheese and they don't add a tomato.

From New Zealand just finished watching your once were warriors videos and this popped up. We have good pies and shit pies i wouldn't recommend the gas station pies. Not from my gas station anyway. Mabey try a maori tradition hangi. Or hangi pie haha. Yeah everything is expensive here for us sadly, buying products not made in nz that is.

I haven’t been to McDonald’s in years. Nasty junk food. Never buy anything edible at a gas station, my son nearly died of food poisoning from a dodgy chicken sandwich. I do like steak and mushroom and steak and onion pies we have here in Australia, not sure if they’re a New Zealand thing but. The pies you bought from bakeries all look yummy

Pie crust = Pastry (Paste-Tree). We used to make shapes out of it as kids and just eat it by itself straight out of the oven. So good.

A word of advice for you, when you come to NZ people might stare at you because Black American's are almost non existent in NZ. People will be staring at you out of curiosity not disrespect. Especially if they hear you talk. Many Polynesians which include Maori idolize Black American culture so you would come across as some what of a celebrity. Just like how foreigners that go to Japan are perceived by many of the locals as movie stars.

Gas station pies are nasty. Caltex & BP do gourmet pies. I’m not a fan of BP gourmet pies I find them hard and have a spice to it. I find Caltex is more similar to bakery pies.

lol…MacDonalds is bad in every country. Small sizes are great since MacDonald food not exactly healthy. Clothing is expensive in NZ…easier for us to either just wear cheap stuff, or fly to Aussie or other Asia to get better things. Def take up on offers next time from peeps and you can avoid mistakes

Yep nz love America shoes and style but we rarely have things over here , so we have to spend atleast 400-700 nearly a grand at times to get pairs of Jordan’s and all , it’s very expensive and the men’s clothing here isn’t it either , that’s why you would see a lot of nz ppl wearing all the same shit and shoes , our style here is different, we even flip over how cheap clothes & shoes are over in your country cause over here evrything small & expensive
