Once 15 years ago I stayed in a backpackers in the Nth Island. I came home from doing a late shift and a Samoan security guard said I looked hungry (I was). He offered to share some of his food with me of pork flaps and taro. That was the blandest fattiest food I've ever eaten. But I'll always remember his kindness. Good people, the Samoans.

Small world , i think i was locked up with that somalian guys lil brother in Brisbane, Australia. I remember him telling me his brother lives in n.z and is down with the blue side (bl*ck power). That African guy wearing blue that you were talking to looks exactly like the dude i was locked up with. Given the fact that there's really not many Somalian's in n.z, he looks exactly like him and is wearing all blue, i would definitely bet my last dollar that thats his older brother. Bro if you really want to experience aotearoa nz. You need to go to our rural towns and check out our mountains and beautiful landscape. You also have to visit a marae and connect with Maori so you can get a true Aotearoa experience. Our cities have nothing to offer compared to the cities in your country.
Love your work brother! Came from u.s to get your Kai from a carpark and then made to feel guilty for eating in front of uncle😅. Like the lady said been waiting a couple years for this and I love that you done the ground zero experience first. Hopefully you return in the future to try some other experiences in Aotearoa as well.
