hey Jeff driving a cassy vs driving a long nose like a classic xl or pete is like night and day..i have drove both irl..a easy tip would be keep the half way mark on the hood on the right side white line and you will be good on a long nose for a cassy you can use your fender mounted right side mirror ..thats how i do it irl...i like that you didn't get the 600+ horse engine b/c honestly cassy's don't have those big engines that i've ever seen or heard about..most are usually 425 horse cummins or the equivilent
The phone/water option screws the in dash navigation display. Not able to watch entire vid right now so if you figure that out later sorry for telling you something you already know
I'm from Butte Montana and when you mentioned it i got excited to see how realistic the area looked since I can't get the coast 2 coast mod to work on mine.
Hey Jeff! One thing I gotta point out, in the interior view you have to select the front mirrors again so that you can see them. You had them installed on the outside and when you’re in interior view they were not there. The solution is to go to upgrades and go into interior upgrades and the front mirror option should be on the bottom right of the windshield! Love the videos!
I loved the new 2018 Freightliner Cascadia! The interior could use some better textures, but overall it was a great truck. The new Cascadia is one of my favorite trucks on the road.
Great Run, Jeff! I like the Freightliner Cascadia, looks really nice inside and out. I'm curious to see what you do modifying it in the next and future episodes. Love the scenery but it got really blurry the second time you had it floored before the weigh station came up. Guess the game wasn't expecting that much speed out of that rig. LOL. Keep On Truckin'!
hey jeff. long time viewer. im a truck driver. i worked for covenant for almost a year. i had a 18 freightliner with them. if you think the sim is nice you sould be in one of the real ones. i loved it
The "GPS" is apparently just zoomed in on that specific spot only to show the speed limit, like you mentioned at first. But in areas where there is no limit (such as yards, shops) it just shows the GPS in that spot.
I really liked the Freightliner. I just down-loaded ATS via Steam a month ago and love playing the game. My old Logitech Attack 3 does a pretty good job until I can afford to buy a steering wheel with buttons. But the nice thing with the Attack 3 joy stick is I can sit in my recliner with my lap-top on my lap of course on top of a board for air venting and drive all day if I want. I just have to be extra careful with the joy stick as the truck can get squirrely easy. I'll be down loading some other mods as time goes by. I must say, your graphics are a bit better than mine, you have more detail. One thing that think can make your truck look straighter is to move the seating position to 80 degrees as it looked like you were driving down the road at an angle. Other than that a great job, we both drive and back up very similar. My only other complaint with the game is there are too many blind side back up's then you have to be outside the truck to back up into the slot, instead of looking out the window like you just did here. I try not to blind side back up as often as possible but sometimes I have to use #2 and scroll around the truck and back in like that for blind side...... I'd appreciate any reply's you have to offer... I enjoyed your video very much.
I like the truck from the factory the truck comes with a DD15. You should use the blue Freightliner classic for some new videos that was one of my favorite trucks that you have used on your channel.
I drove a cascadia for Schneider that looked just like that white one with the black roads. The cascadia is a smoother ride but I miss the older century for it's turning. The truck I liked the best is the international eagle 9400i. It's alot like the cascadia with the ride but it turns a little better and I liked the cabin layout. I liked the freightliner layout but I liked the international 9400i layout better. I like the looks of the long nose trucks like the freightliner classic and the perterbuilt but I drove in New Jersey alot by Jersey City and the long nose trucks made my job harder cause the longer hood blocked my vision and cars would stop right where I couldn't see. It was just annoying but I loved the trucks ride but I hood made my job a little harder.
I heard the creator of this mod quit and said this is the final version because of negative feedback on the mod site. It sucks... some people complain too much and don’t offer constructive criticism and only attack the guys who work hard to make things.
hey jeff hows it goin, i love that your starting to make your own independent videos again, i didnt really like how the DOJ series was starting to get a little too hectic, i love your singleplayer LSPDFR and your ATS series, i would love to see some ETS2 again because that is what got me into your channel, love your channel and keep on trucking!!!!!!!!
I can't get it to even work, agreed great looking truck. Was told that a couple of other mods would help make it work but I no longer have those mods and can''t find them on Steam anymore.
My personal favorite kind of semi trucks would have to be Kenworth and Mack Trucks for 18-wheelers and depending on the year maybe a couple Freightliners and Peterbelts trucks
I love that truck I think I might get it for my ats. ps Jeff did you knoe that the 2018 Cascadia is an automatic transmission and this mod shows the shifter on the steering column like it should be
My uncle had a gator in his back pond where he lives (New Port Richey, FL) and they are all over the place. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to have a screen on your garages to keep gators out?
Taylor Nero unfortunately they can't on a public road without either a permit at a school or a valid cdl. Otherwise it would have to be in a parking lot.
anony mous ya I know I have my class A CDL but it would still be cool to see them drive in a parking lot or even go to a school or something like that.
Austin West That would be cool, to be honest there is a fire truck simulator that's very, very cool, but it's not as realistic as this one is and on point. But it fair.
Hey Jeff, nice video. Do you know when the new update with the cables are coming out because I can’t wait. It’s so cool how SCS is going to make the cables connect from the truck to the trailer
