And Animal Mother found his true calling as a football coach after returning from Vietnam. Even more amazing is that Rouge can hug people without taking their energy!!
While watching the trailer I just kept saying over and over "Dennis Quaid, Dennis Quaid, common... Dennis Quaid" and BAM there he was hitting me right in the feels!
Funniest thing! I met Zachary Levi on vacation in the Caribbean a bit after Shazam came out. Dude was super chill and happily chatted with me, a random dude. Cool seeing how much his career has grown.
From all the comic con stuff Ive watched he truly seems to have a passion and connection with the "fans". Nice to hear you had such a good interaction.
Kool that the star of "The Rookie" is transferring the cachet from that movie to this one. KW used the throw the most beautiful ball ever. Now I need to go look up his highlights again. Looking forward to this flick.
Don’t know if I need to watch the movie.. I watch this story in real time.. thanks Kurt for winning my fantasy league that year!! I won a nice little chunk of money 😂😂
"Chills"... This looks incredible. I remember his 1st game against SF the Rams were 0-17 against them Warner beat the breaks off of them and ruined a Sunday in my childhood.🤣🤣🤣
They were called “The Greatest Show on Turf” Dick Vermiel was the Coach in 1999 Rams that grabbed Kurt Warner. He took a chance on Warner and the rest is History.
It was an absolutely amazing season and, bonus, I was living in STL at the time. It was the only season where my wife and I either had people over to watch the game or went out to a local pub. The sense of community was palpable. It helped that it all came down to one of the most exciting Superbowls in my memory. It was the only one I can remember where people were hurrying to the bathroom during commercials so they didn't miss any of the game :)
One of the best if not the best offense in a SINGLE SEASON I have ever saw in my life. I know the Chiefs are that team now BUT in the 90's it was the RAMS!!
One of the most accurate passers in the game. The wide receivers would say if he put the ball on your left shoulder, then you knew without looking their was a defender on your right !!!
I really want to see Zachary Levi in this role! I've only ever seen him do the happy idiot type of movies, which I like, but it looks like he can do full-on serious too.
So glad they did a movie on Kurt. He certainly deserves it. He was an absolute pleasure to watch throughout his career. His first few seasons with the rams were incredibly special. And in no way whatsoever was he a flas in the pan. Kurt was a true super talent and is completely deserving of his place in the HOF.
Tell you what...I am a diehard WFT fan....but I rooted HARD for KW when he played for the Rams....his story was just amazing and his grit and competitiveness were inspiring...will definitely see this movie!
Hell yea, we haven't had a feel good Football movie in a while. It's just superhero movie after superhero movie... and I enjoy superhero flicks, but I miss the days of thrilling court room dramas and feel good sports movies like back in the 80s and 90s.
From Buy More, to superhero, to grocery store clerk, to super bowl champion. The story of Chuck Shazam Warner. The greatest quarterback to shoot lightning bolts and sell electronics ever told!
I HATE most football movies untill I watch them and I'll say ehh that was good. This Though I can say AM VERY EXCITED. ZACHARY LEVI finally want to see him something different that he's a lead in. Looking forward to this movie
Looks really good. I hope they do one for Matt Patricia and his underdog story as head coach of the lions. Everyone needs to see what a job he did there
The acting of Martz is exactly like his famously volatile and angry personality :/ Quaid playing Vermeil, ironies abound. This is a good story but those of us who watched the NFL at the time saw it already.
This another good sports movie, very inspirational and moving sometimes. I don't follow American football, so i didn't know the story of Kurt Warner. Very easy to watch and a good choice for a family watch movie night.
God that was so so so close. One would say his run in those playoffs that year was just as good as the 99 season. Fitz blew up those been playoffs, im not even a cards fan but loves that postseason.
Its funny cuz the Shazam kid actually loves football , he watched cyborg before he was changed play in a football game so it's no coincidence he's doing a NFL movie
Music gave the trailer a good vibe.TBH, the only thing i have seen Zachery Levi in has been Shazam, but he looks pretty good here.I'll give it a watch...
I am happy to see Levi in a movie, hes a good actor and I thought after Shazam he would be in more roles but he wasnt. Hopefully this puts him on the map or something.
He has roles lined up. 2019 he was pretty busy with Shazam related things. And 20/20 the pandemic hit and Hollywood shut down. In September he filmed another movie based on real people called 'The Unbreakable Boy'. That one comes out in March. He has a couple other movies lined up that he hasn't filmed yet, including one that he's also a producer on.
'faith made him a champion' is a fairly strong indicator they wil not minmize his and Brendas faith walk. Presumin this is 'authorized' by them [& 'All Things Possible' is indeed listed as source material] ... i suspect it wil not b a 'secularized' version of the story ...
@@rvog6584 Kurt and Brenda are producers on the movie and were there for some of the filming. In an interview that Zachary Levi did he said that he and his girlfriend spent Thanksgiving at Kurt and Brenda's house. Which would have been before the movie started filming.
