Life update: 1. It's always great to hear your positive and comforting voice. 2. I'm old... Two years older than you... Worked in tech, I have done graphic slave labor design for the last 15 years. I have a terrible habit... I rub my nose when I think... So, I figured I would grow a moustache for the first time ever, and some chin hair to keep my hands off my nose. It's growing in... Moustache will be magical with the billions of soft hairs flopping in the wind when it grows in by June.... My shin hair looks like that of an angry teenager (I might have to remove that...) 3. I bough my son a Rockwell 6S... For my February 29th birthday (my 14th birthday) this year, my son used his after-school work pay to get me one too. He had it engraved and everything... Depeche Mode lyric. Guess what stupid me did? Yes...I took it with me on a trip... Left it... Hotel has no idea... Probably went in the garbage (can't blame the staff... it was a hygiene product.) He does not know... My tears lube my face every time I shave now. 4. Wife loves running her hands over my face... She says it feel nice... Like a full hand of Golden Retriever eyelashes. (Not what I was going for... but I will take it... 😊)

Then Henson is a nice mild razor. I've been enjoying mine. Gives a great shave and is very forgiving.

I found your channel when COVID started and I can’t believe it’s been 4 years!! Because of you I started shaving with a safety razor! Oh, and I purchased a 1918 WW1 safety razor too! Your videos have helped so many people my self included! Great video as always!

Finally found a Fatboy last week and I can say after two years shaving with a Gillette slim that fat boy is the best shave I’ve ever had

Your videos are always so entertaining!!! I really wish I could make a hobby of wet shaving because it looks like so much fun trying out the new shave soaps, brushes and razors. I just never could adapt to a double edge razor. Sadly I'm a cartridge man for life. 🤣🤣🤣

Nice sounds like another soap I need to buy lol. There's a few other artisans I've been wanting to try. Still got the moon soaps ( I think that the name) from Etsy you liked a few years ago with the leaf twig videos. This year first purchase was the Merica razor in January awesome razor. Should of bought it years ago instead of the Henson. Most recently bought Parker Solo edge, Timeless aluminum slant and a Timeless .68 scalloped bar stainless razor which is built like a tank and really clamps the blade. I have the Winning Razor from Yates on the way just out of curiosity to compare with the Henson which has the similar fixes angle.

Haven’t commented for a while but have been watching your videos for years. I would have liked to have got one of those SL signature razors. I’ll have to look at purchasing one of their ‘Merica razors. They seem to be a very well made razor.

It would be easier to style your hair if you thin the hair with thinning scissors (the back to the front). I do it and it helps me use less product, less weight, and easier to style.
