This movie is made in indian perspective. The song during that final battle was dedicated for 2 bros fighting against each other and this tune is traditional tunes of folk songs but this music tune was made in sad tone to give it emotional touch during the fight. Fights in family between bros to protect father
Very immature reaction. The movie is titled ANMAL. Ranvijay's character isn't supposed to be likeable. Expecting morality from him is like expecting a wild animal to act civilised. The movie is all about juxtapositioning grey characters. You guys don't even pay attention to what's happening on the screen.
So what you are saying is this movie is hollow superficial trash ? There are better and greater movies about Animal instincts but with depth like Nightcrawler, nocturnal animals, no country for old men and Martyrs.
That's why it's named - Animal!!! Guys plz try to understand not every time moral values show in movies - Some times it's about how things are there to make them look animal!!!
@harshityadav.17 they DO understand that and that's why they are repulsed by it. You on the other hand think this sick character should be celebrated no matter what. If you actually understood that this guy is animalistic you would have been repulsed at thjs character and the movie as well.

@@PALLAVPHUKAN-lr4zi Naah, this makes me think you really haven't watched many movies outside mainstream media, becuase if you had, you would realise that Animal is a very midiocre movie in it's plot, screenplay and even story. It's style over substance. You lack media literacy if you think just because a movie is about morally grey characters it somehow makes it complex or interesting. Ranbir in this is the most lukewarm basic bitch andrew tate wannabe.
Can everyone be a little more respectful in the comments? We are not going to fake a reaction and praise the second half of this film when we thought that some of the plot, dialogue, and character choices were weird and off putting to us. We want to be honest with our audience. We aren’t going to praise the parts of a movie we didn’t like. This is our opinion, of course you can have your own opinion about this movie and we will respect that, but please respect ours. Respect goes both ways. Our review comes out tomorrow where we explain the parts we liked and didn’t like. For those who keep saying there’s not enough movie/audio.. we can’t put in more because RU-vid/T-series will copyright strike us! They are very strict especially with newer movies. Also this is a react video not a watch-along. Please rent your own copy of the movie if you’re just looking to watch the movie.
i think those are just honest comments of your viewers and it should be allowed especially when you are expecting your self to give honest review about the film. it works both ways.
We see your viewpoint and we totally agree with you that comments should be allowed and we like to see other viewpoints. It’s when people are bringing each other down, calling each other names and being disrespectful.. that’s what we are talking about.
Movie’s name is Animal. It’s about a guy who goes beyond his moral transcendence in the name of revenge, becoming almost as crazy as the main villain. Guys it’s not a hero vs villain story. Don’t expect morality! Just watch it as a character study
Our review comes out tomorrow! What did you think of this movie? Due to the copyright issues we’ve been having we had to take out more of the audio and video from the movie for this react. CHECK OUT OUR PATREON PAGE for the FULL UNEDITED Reaction to Animal: patreon.com/thesliceoflifepodcast
If u dislike movie they are gonna come for u... Indians don't like negative reaction to their stuff. They want pretend enjoyment lol. Movie is not good period.
@@thesliceoflifepodcast Haha, that's true but I think there are more people who are supporting you than you think. This movie mostly have had extreme reactions. The polarity is seen between two groups of audiences who either absolutely love the film or doesn't like it not for the reasons most movies are disliked (cinematography, choreography, acting, intensity) but for the exact reasons that the movie and it's director had took the risk of showcasing as unprecedented scenes and plots of the Bollywood industry. Thay had an unique vision and a twisted way of showing things that are moreover not even commonly spotted in such intensities in good films. Was the consequences worth the risks? Is the vision of the director truly deep and well thought or is the film an excuse to show off some atrocities? It the complex plot really good or is it way too much? Such questions would persist forever and has been answered in many different directions. Whatever the intentions or the vision of the director, he definitely didn't lack in conviction and in the process made a very good technical film which presumably everyone would agree with irrespective of the opinion of the plot. Now I belong to the audience group who have actually liked the film and caught on most of the visions and hints of the director and emotions of the plot. I often overthought of the plot and the criticisms that it sowed. But believing in versatility, character development and the freedom of expression I resisted being affected by them. Watching films I understood that in order to really love a film/story, you have to catch on the essence of it, it's characters - their developments and so on. So I would suggest you all to give any such film like this one chance and really try to find the essence of the film. And don't always go with logic rather emotions in these films as infinite logic can literally come from any side. I hope as critics you will not be like those who just hate a film for the same redundant reasons.
I don't like this movie, drag the story too much, violence against women just were unnecessary to show no relation with the story, the director just hate women always making this kind of movies
Violence is in this movie is justified........ The world is not heaven ....it's a mixture of good and evil.... Its just a movie ...there is no rule that movie should made like peace with moral values......Gay kid watch.hungama or Cartoon network ....
This movie makes perfect sense if you watch it thinking how the lead character thinks of himself and the world around him. Whole movie is made from lead actor's perspective.
@@Lazymath007_ director is the captain of the ship. Director is very much relatable and unavoidable. After all this piece of shit is his creation and his thought process
@@Lazymath007_ hahaha calm down. I hope you don't have any relation with the director. But the problem is there are a lot of ppl who think this way and also we know very well where to go for religious scriptures. Thanks
Do something about picture in picture . Find other ways to avoid copyright. Im not just here to watch your faces . Thats just 20% of the reason to watch reaction video . 80% time we watch actual video
Yeah he do bad stuff and crazy and weird stuff. But thats the point, the director wanted you to feel that way. The protagonist can do bad things as well like in real life. So plz understand the cinema and then reacts on it. I agree the movie takes a dip after the interval and the second half is a bit drag but come on guys, its unique and different,
I always wonder why u guys keep talking non stop during reaction we can't hear anything and u also can't concentrate too its quite annoying, I mean u guys will review it later u can talk there too u know
Maybe they talk because it’s a REACTION channel??? 🤷♀️ And, they’re excited and happy and we are happy to hear their POV and excitement in their REACTION. You know you can just watch the movie to hear everything and concentrate and stifle and restrict your emotions all by your lonely self and leave them to react!
@@septleaves8521 they said in their discreptions below that they will upload a review tomorrow so they can talk their u know 🙄 second I am not the first one who complain about there so many and tbh they are annoying while the reaction
So, its implied that Ranbir (Ranvijay) and Bobby (Abrar) were werewolf alphas multiple times in the movie. So, most of the wild things they do in the movie sort of exist in the werewolf universe. Still doesn't justify a lot of this movie. We were just as horrified + confused + amused (by some of it) in the theatre!
Yess. Becuz the movie has deep meanings about a father son relationship. Even though the movie showed such violence and unnecessary scenes most audiences like us saw the madness of a son to secure his father.❤
If you are watching the movie… keep in mind… there is no hero in this story… and don’t learn anything… or else don’t watch the movie… if you don’t want to be offended… simple.. but I can see why you had these reactions…
Dude..... Do you guys just talk or you watch the movie, because everytime there are only you guys talking nonsense and just mocking the movie or the scenes, try to watch movies with your mouth shut. Discussions are supposed to happen after the reaction not during the reaction.
It's a reaction channel, if you keep your mouth shut, then it's just watch along. And you want them to fake their reaction and praise these stupid movies everytime. Why would you want them to not mock something stupid? You didn't even made that movie, why are you that insecure?
@@motionmix2523 When someone reacts on something that happens for a limited period of time, we don't discuss it about it literally during the screening of the film. If you are reacting on anything you are watching and discussing it simultaneously, then what is the point of watching it. You are going to miss some scenes anyway. And secondly... I am not triggered about their reaction at all. And about defending the film, yes I will defend it because I liked it in every aspect. These types of movies don't get made in Bollywood, the director, the actors and the supporting cast have done fantastic job in every aspect. These type of cinema is not for people like you who gets triggered for every minute thing.
@@hiteshsharma9390 you don't have issue with them talking, you have issue with them mocking your favourite movie? And just because you like it doesn't mean that everyone should have same opinion as you, they have every right to criticize and laugh at it, and talking about getting triggered easily, you are one who had issue with them mocking your favourite movie.
This was exactly how I felt after watching this terrible movie guys .Wonder if the filmmaker realises that having severe daddy issues can't be used to justify violent psychopathic behaviour. From the way female characters are portrayed, I am sure that the filmmaker has not known any women in life. Film tries too hard to be edgy but it just comes across as jarring and bizarre.
I disliked the movie for not the reasons u said. I don't mind it. Say whatever the director wants to say, it's their freedom. What I didn't like abt the movie is stupid story, father son relationship not fully explored, violence is actually not that impressive, Bobby underutilsed and tripti dimri arc was so illogical.
No one said it’s justifying. His father calls him a criminal throughout and his wife even tells him he is going crazy, ultimately leaving him. There’s no justification anywhere. It’s a story of a psycho, what don’t you understand?
@@Lazymath007_ That is the main issue my friend, they don't know what "justify" word means. And they talk about justifying violence and all those things, I want to ask them that in "Wolf of Wall Street", Leonardo DiCaprio's character was doing all those things, did anyone criticised him or the director that they shouldn't promote this type of lifestyle by making this film.
You're a female so obviously you won't like it. This movie wasn't made for women, it is made for men to enjoy and it did crazy on bod office so Vanga doesn't give a F about your opinion.
What an immature nd nonsensical reaction is this... Like they didn't even get the zipper scene... Even a kid will understand this dt he opened his zip to SAY NO in a disrespective way.... Nd the movie is based on a negative character who believes that this world is a jungle and he must protect his people from this jungle at any cost... That's y this film is called ANIMAL ... And this kind of screenplay is not weird... Hollywood alrdy used this kind of screenplays in many movies like kill bill... Btw I gotta say accept for this one I like all ur vdo guyz... Good job✨
Subtittles aren't accurate. Actually Ranbir said "Please don't get married' out of his crazzy idea of love. But i still think it's wrong. Then again everything he did, justify the MC's personality... And it's a damm good movie❤❤ , don't care if anyone lecturing about morality in movies🖕🖕
If it's about the movie Joker then thay will say "Oh! what a great character and a great movie.......Fuck morality" . Is there no limit for hypocrisy guys??
The people who are criticizing them for this reaction, considering how the movie is, how did you guys expected them to react? Literally every aspect of this movie is so disturbing and they are reacting exactly how a healthy person should.
Another immature spotted. May I know the meaning of disturbing in your language ? Do you expecting this to be a Lord Ram or Jesus story ???Just google how many series are there with such disturbing content in Netflix. Just don't comment if you cant understand the movie with optimistic mind.
When you don't/can't use your mind to interpret and understand things as they are, especially considering that this is a movie involving character sketches (character sketches are important for any film/story as they involve you to explore the journey, mind and emotions of the character. You yourself experience what has led to the character being them). We have movie masterpieces that fantastically walk you through the character development of evil/dark/grey characters and people love these movies inspite the main character being a psychopath or a murdered or a terrorist since they have seen, felt and understood every aspect of his being and followed their journey all through (even though nobody would like to come across these characters in their life). These films teach us what not to do as responsible citizens and as humane individuals. These films adress curiosity as how a villain is made. Animal is such a type of film. I know that in today's world not may have the time to think about all these; so these vague superficial reactions come out. At the same time I also believe that thinking about things at a deeper level especially art pieces can enrich your wisdom and is ultimately helpful to you in life. So you see the people who have actually caught on the director's vision are really impressed which includes me and are giving lessons to them who need help to break down the minute things that have great impact to the film's premise, and that is completely fine. Lastly everybody has the right to criticism and so having reactions as these are obviously not morally wrong but feel wrong to the people who have felt strong emotions watching the film. You can understand why. At the end of the day people have their own preferences, opinions, tastes, so it's better to move on obviously.
This movie is literally garbage. The movie worked because of Ranbir Kapoor's performance, music(which are the only good), $eX scenes, and violence. This director knows very well how to cash in on $eX and violence
INDIAN POPLE BACKLASHES WITH IT BUT THEN EVERY ONE ENJOY AND FORGOT THAT THIS IS JUST MOVIE BHAI THEN WHY TO MUCH TO THINK, IT MAY EFFECT YOU IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT FOR HOUR BUT NOT DAY AND ACTOR ALSO SAY THAT THIS WAS MY CHARACTER IN MOVIE AND NO BODY WANT TO BECOME LIKE HIM AND DIRECTOR GOT HUNDRED OF BAD WORD FROM AUDIENCE FOR HIS PREVIOUS MOVIE WHICH SHOW VIOLENCE THEN HE SAY- "I WILL SHOWN WHAT IS REAL VIOLENCE" AND THAT CHALLENGE WAS GENUINE.
I'm so thankful that sane mature and sensible men like you guys exist. I totally agree with your reaction. You can't just show immoral stuff and justify it by saying its okay he is not a good person. Although the background score and the directorial lens suggests otherwise. Thank you for being yourself and not pandering to a bunch of lowlife nobodies who tell you what to do. ❤
Fact is as much as you guys abhor him, 9 out of 10 women will pick someone like him over most of the nice boys like you. there is a reason why women get atracted towards bad guys
Very bad reaction video... They are very immature to react on any video.. Everyone now a days think if they react to Indian movies they will have may views and subscribers.. So, anyone is coming out with zero knowledge or understanding...
Really Tripti has acted in such good movies so far, so I expected she would choose movies wisely. Maybe she got paid too well for acting in this trash.
If you are watching Indian cinema then watch and enjoy. Don't try to find Hollywood in Indian cinema. Indian cinema has its own taste. If you want to enjoy Hollywood flavor, it would be better to watch Hollywood and stop watching Indian cinema. You guys did not understand anything in this movie.
Think like a king if possible.. then you guys gonna realise why he's like that.. why hus main focus is on protecting his family.. dominating, like hes taking care of a kingdom, and for kings women are not their main priority they used to have lots of wifes.. and the wifes were okay wid that
Precisely why women in India who can, do prefer western men. Far more evolved and sensitive than the current crop in India. Thank you for calling out the troubling film for what it is. The way you guys were disturbed about the film in so many scenes is reflective of a great respect you have for women. Thank you!
Now you guys know first hand why this movie wasn’t liked by so many people lol! Please ignore people that aren’t evolved enough to let you be entitled to your own opinions. There’s a lot better movies out there 😅
The perils of pretending that you understand a movie when you clearly don’t because of the language barrier get exposed in movies in this. The song and music that played during the fight between Ranbir and Boddy Deol was not an upbeat song or music at all. It was the exact opposite. It was a super sad song with a myriad of emotions conveyed through the lyrics and the music but since you guys don’t know the language and haven’t made any effort to learn it you are embarrassing yourselves and opening yourselves up to criticism. I know the annoying guy at the left always says any comment is good for engagement. Wait till this backfires on him big time when he misinterprets an emotion during a serious situation in a movie and says something highly offensive or what some religious folks may consider blasphemous. Somebody needs to tell these guys that Indians live in every city in the world. Some are nice. Some are not. Don’t get yourself in trouble due to language barriers. If I watched 100 movies in another language I am fairly certain I would have made the effort to learn 70%-80% of the language by now.
