Bogart pls make more content Video I’ve been a fan of yours ever since! I just don’t get it why you only have hundred thousands of subscribers. Just dont get it
Pudra is absolutely correct.😂😂😂. Because when you eat durian your body feel hot. You feel hot. Durian is an energy food. And yes, winey and bitter taste durian, that's that kind that we have. It is native, organic, not cultured one. If in season we sell and most customers would look for it because of its taste.
Thank you for visiting here in Davao City and happy seing you all guys enjoying the foods. I love collaboration with the companion of Bogart the Explorer has a sense of humor to make us all happy watching the whole video. Stay safe & Enjoy 😍😃🤗
I've lived in Mindanao all my life, and spent four years in Davao during college. But you'll never catch me eating Durian! Kudos to Will and Pudra for trying the real deal!
Kinilaw is made with raw seafood marinated in vinegar or citrus juice, known for its fresh and tangy flavor. Kilawin, on the other hand, incorporates a wider range of ingredients, including cooked meats, and uses vinegar-based marinade primarily for flavor and meat tenderization.
I can’t thank you enough for such interactive video, a perfect food influencer/vlogger who would dare taste anything and everything new to you walang arte. I’m appreciating the durian portion cuz didn’t know they have different varieties and that made me want to try it again. Btw your collab with Bogart is perfect the way he describes and explains everything is so fine and clear. Very knowledgeable 🙌👏🤙❤️😘
PINAKBET is PINAK ka lang pero dika bet.. PAKBET is demn hot.. pak na pak na bet na bet pa ...lol !!!!!!!****😆 😅 😂 Seriously men, pakbet is a short word for pinakbet.
As a Dabawenyo who still doesnt eat durian, kudos to will and his father. Also, kouign aman is not really a local food. My 1st taste of this pastry was way back in 2016 at the Podium mall. It just became popular here in Davao when a local shop started selling it last year i think.
Same, laging parang lasang panis? Kahit durian ng thailand ganun natikman ko pero may isa kong nabilhan ng durian from davao, sweet tyala super creamy, nakalimutan kong mabaho lol
Pinakbet is "HOW" you cooked the vegetable. Pakbet is the name of the dish. Its like adobo, if you have a meat and someone will ask you, "how did you cooked it?" you can say "INADOBO ko sya". Same goes with Kaldereta, = kinaldereta. etc
Pinakbet is the formal name of the dish, pakbet is its shortened name but is also accepted..you would know thart if you're an ilocano because pinakbet and pakbet is an ilocano word. Haan ka nga talanggutang nga talanggutang nu dimo ammo ti sawsawem, MAAWATAM?
Pinakbet is an ilocano dish derived from the ilocano word "pinakibbet" which means "to shrink", we ilocanos cook to shrink our pinakbet vegetables, pakbet is also accepted as a shortened name for pinakbet.
Good to hear you come here in Mindanao wil, and you like the durian fruit which other people dont like it, and your father try it also, hope you visit here in Dipolog city.
Ganyan dapat mag try ng new food lafang kung lafang para talagang malasahan😊.hindi ung pakunti kunti na kulang pa sa half teaspoon 😅 Great vedio...nakakatuwa
Some people are actually highly more sensitive to the taste and smell of food because of genetic variation. Super tasters are generally more reactive. Taste buds also vary from person to person; some have too little while others have too much that they cannot stomach coffee or beer. I'm the latter but enjoy super flavorful food and also simple ones that allow me to taste the actual ingredients.i can't handle durian though but I love stinky cheeses 😅 I wasn't aware of our taste buds complexity until I went to med school.
"kinilaw" is anything fresh meat (including fish) mixed and cut into small pieces with vinegar or citrus and some ingredients. While "kilawin" is more of a grilled meat cut into small pieces and mixed with vinegar or citrus and other ingredients.
Ginamos is actually somettmes called bagoong in other places. Its somewhere in between before the fish turns into complete fish sauce (patis) as its the same ingredient used to make fish sauce (fish fermented in salt)
Same here, I also don't understand the fuss with durian. I get headaches with any scent of perfumes/colognes, but durian's smell for me is heaven... and the taste, yumm murag ice cream na super creamy! Oh, how I miss durian and Davao!
I was confused when they called "alamang", "bagoong". In our part of the Philippines we call shrimp past just "alamang". Fish paste is "bagoong". I googled it, and both are bagoong.
Correct me if I'm Wrong.. Afritada is chicken Mechado is Pork OR any meat without bones on it. Caldereta is any animals that has horns such as (goat, cow and carabao) OR Caldereta is mostly any meat that has bones.
Pakbet is usually short cut for pinakbet. To make it easier to pronounce. Basically it's the same. That Durian with creamy texture, we call it Puyat. It's nice to refrigerate it before eating. It taste like ice cream 😊
basically afritada, menudo and caldereta share similar ingredients, garlic, onions, tomato sauce. the difference though, afridata originally is chicken and its on sweet side... menudo is pork and its savory... caldereta is beef and on the spicy side plus the addition of peanut butter and liver spread in the dish...
