So these 82-70s actually look for pins even on a strike. I like that....that's what they should all do! I can't tell you how many times when I was in my league, a camera failed to detect a pin because it was slightly off spot, and told the machine to just throw the pin away and set a new full rack. So annoying.
@Sharkie626 yeah it is a bit of a downer. I get that the idea is for them to save power and additional movement but when like you said the camera doesn't work it's a bit detrimental
I wish Singapore had this kind of modified amf pinsetter. All amf pinsetters in Singapore just sweep up when it's a strike. The pinsetter never comes down:( Anyways, I live your channel:)
@Little_Lim. i think that's the 82-90 that doesn't come down. I made a mistake in the thumbnail calling it the 82-90 as others have pointed out🫠 I'm glad you like the channel! I'll do my best to find more Amf pinsetters to film😉
@@TheBowlerYT whoa I had to with out glasses because i didn't have them and I'm very near sighted I had to deal with this for a year and the pins looked like there's 20 rack of pins Instead of 10 that's how bad my vision is its really bad I basically see one foot away💀
Well because this isn't an 82-90, its your typical 82-70 judging by the tall front end motors and I know on a Strike cycle the table comes down to detect, well this pinspotter still had that chassis on the top of the machine.
This is an 82-70 that is probably running with an older Chassis, which is the electronic brain of the unit. The older versions of the Chassis had a different form of strike detection, which used the table and switches in the respot solenoids. Only the newer 82-70 Chassis, such as the MP chassis do not lower the table to detect standing pins, but rather use the camera and the score system to aid in running a first ball standing pins cycle, or a strike cycle.
