Got my S22 Ultra today and this video helped so much, thank you! The protector is good, you can barely tell there is one on and it feels nice too. No problem with fingerprint reader or spen either. Overall pretty pleased.
I did this with one error on my part. I used the level in the center of the screen, then I ALSO used it as the fingerprint area weight during installation. Big difference in weight there. After reregistering my prints it it working.
Great screen protector. Easy application. Only gripe is that it looks like you can see where the weight was when you put it on the fingerprint sensor it's ever so slight
Yeah I noticed the same! I think the point is the weight pushes the protector further closer to the phone screen in that area so your fingerprint works. I also have a tiny tiny tiny bubble :/
Thanks, I bought this exact screen protector, but haven't installed it. I'm nervous about imperfectly installing screen protectors, but this video helped boost my confidence quite a bit!
I was hoping you would have at least just mentioned how it compared to the White Stone Dome Glass protector. I bought both, have used White Stone since my Note8, I am not sure what to really expect from AM Films, but I'm definitely very optimistic that the Am Film protector will be less stressful to install. Looking forward to putting it on.
I think the amfilm is very comparable to the Whitestone and in some ways better. You should be pleased with it and it should be a little easier to install. Let me know how it goes for you.
@@syferofsin7530 he was probably incentivized in some way by this company to review their product. You don't plug their biggest competitor at all when doing this for a company lol
How do you get no air bubbles? I went through 4 of them and got air bubbles every single time? I am willing to try one last time, but skeptical at this point
Great content. I've use Amfilm glass screen protector on my note20 ultra. But it kept lifting when I used supcase unicorn beetle pro or poetic spartan or otterbox defender pro. Maybe using UAG Monarch or the ESR case it will work. The lip protection isn't as extreme as the others. But I still have Amfilm elastic skin screen protector for over a year and work and look like it did when I first put it on.
Rubbing alcohol will eat the adhesive away. You can use a moist ear swab and blast some music at full volume. After you feelmits good enough, let the music keep playing and face it downbeat keep the speaker lifted so it spits the gunk out and dries out. I had this problem on my note 20 ultra... worked like a charm. Best of luck.
@@GluttonyIsMySin thanks so much. I will be replacing the screen protector when I get back from my trip. There are a few bubbles, and the edge lifted when I was putting my case on. But over all,the product is still 100% solid. More like installation error on my part, being my first time. So thanks again.
For some reason, whenever I try to install my screen protector, it leaves a circle around the fingerprint sensor from the weight. Should I just remove everything and then just try and cure it without the weight on top?
Hey man, thanks for the video. I have a question! Does the fusion x case fits with amfilm glass screen protector without causing it to peel off? Thanks!
yeah this is PVA or soap based liquid. using soapy water on any of the screen protectors is all you have to do. Same as how the auto industry puts on film.
i wonder if the glue and screen are the same as the old 3 pack...the 3 pack is the same price as the new 2 pack with better uv light..my mom n sis has same phone so thought about getting the 3 pack if its jus the uv light being the only diff
im curious on this screen protector looks good but i likewhitedome better when it comes to having tape protecting the s pen a nd more i dont want glue coming into the phone.
I have always used this companies screen protector on my s21 and s22 and they work great. Only issue I have had is a few bubbles in some locations, not bad but it happens
Whitedome the weight goes across the screen vertical which is why I opted for it. I work on vehicles and takes time doing stuff, so this was neat doing it lol
Amfilm has better customer service imo. If you mess up the installation they will send you a replacement at no cost. As for the screen protector itself I would say it's just as good as the whitestone dome.
I put one of the new 3 packs of these on my S22 Ultra and it is awesome...the install was perfect and the thing hasn't chipped like the WD always do for me...and it has survived a bad drop with no issues. Also just fine with cases too. The screen looks and feels great.
@@TheGearPeddler yeah I have installed 2 wsd on my ultra and they have both chipped on the sides which does my head in. You say these don't chip as much?
Can't seem to find the Amfilm in Europe so I guess I have to choose between the Whitestone dome and the Mowei glass which one would you recommend Thx in advance
@@luceml8455 Only from Amazon global with an extra $12 shipping cost which makes this a $50 screenprotector, already ordered the WSD glass for $29 incl shipping.
@@rodneydedeaux5642 no but he used 2 vials for one screen. where are the other vials. there was only 2. he used double. it's a 2pack 2 screens 2 vials. correct?
That would be a sapphire crystal screen protector. One company that makes one is SHELLRUS. However, they currently just make ones for the iphones. It is pure Sapphire Crystal and it is extremely durable.
Yes support this company and DO NOT SUPPORT WHITESTONE DOME. There customer service is non existing. Warranty is a joke and they are supposed to be the top dog of curved screen protectors. And its not changed since the day they came out 10 yrs ago. Which tells me they do not care. Great review
It totally damages it.. also the fingerprint scanner stops working with a really reduced battery life. This is due to the UV light interfering with the nano band technology of the IC transmitters embedded in the case
Sorry mate! I know you are trying to win money whit this video from Amazon, am films and RU-vid! But for 38€ I buy better than that! Is like paying 80$ for the Whitestone Dome screen protector!!! 80$ I buy awesome quality films protector for my s22 ultra! For 38$ I buy 3!!!!
