I finally found you again. I missed you and your lovely family. I made a new account and I completely forgot the channel name. This morning you came up in recommended and I was so happy. Gotta catch up on all the videos. The pies look amazing, but everything you make is. Hope you are all doing well. The yard and house are lovely. A big hug to you, Mr. Weyna, and family. 🤗 🤗
Greetings from East Anglia, UK. That topping is essentially what we'd use here to make a pudding called crumble-never seen it applied to a pie before. How interesting! Will have to give it a try. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Afternoon from Ireland! I will definitely make that pie this coming weekend, with blackberries added to the filling. They're growing nearby. It looks divine as usual.

Oh l think l had this pie once but it was decades ago. If l remember correctly, it’s kind of like custard in the middle but more dense. I’m definitely going to have to make it!
Thank you so much for sharing! This pie looks so yummy. I hope this isn’t a silly question but I’m always wondering what kind of apple is the best for baking a pie and how many apples should I use?
You wanna use firmer apples.. but the sweetness is up to you. Granny smith is a tart apple . But I like to use pink ladies or honey crisp as they are sweeter.. all 3 are pretty easy to come by at any grocery store
Renee what kind of apples do you recommend, I am from England but have need here in US many many years my mum spies were the best Bramble apples she used I am always looking for the right apple .
