Every time I watch the earthquake happening in this video, I get flashbacks to that day. Never felt the earth move like that before. It was freaky. I was hiding under the desk in the office - totally the wrong thing to do btw 🙈

Relationship between asiatic lions and Shepherds of gir is greatest living example of human-wild co-existent, this lions of gir are so so nuisanceless, you can actually pass by them while they are wandering around and they won't hurt you. And please do visit Gujarat atleast once in your life, you won't regret 👍🏼.

Damnnnnnn...hope there wasn't much damage with the earthquake. I'm a Gujarati and got excited seeing this 😁 Kutch is an actual desert in North Western Gujarat. It is also called white desert. It has Rann utsav which means desert festival during Winters here dat is from November to January, which includes kite flying festival which is a trademark of this place. In the middle of Gujarat, there is this forest area with Girnar mountain at the center. Forest called Gir forest...only home of the Asiatic Lion. The temple is also a big tourist attraction as it set just by the ocean and even has historical significance..!!! So yaa... setting a trip for 4-5 days in Gujarat is a gud plan ✌️ PS - The forest region has a nice city with few towns around where they have lived for actual thousands of years with actual forest rangers around the forests and in the towns. It is true dat Lions roam around the whole area freely but these Lions have lived their lives like this and their routine places are set so u will most likely see them there.

The 2001 Gujarat earthquake, also known as the Bhuj earthquake, occurred on 26 January, India's 52nd Republic Day, at 08:46 AM IST and lasted for over 2 minutes. The earthquake killed between 13,805 and 20,023 people and injured another 167,000 and destroyed nearly 400,000 homes.

I am not a resident of Gujarat but I did do a solo trip to Rann of Kutch and did have the best experience there. It's culturally and visually rich and beautiful. Please do visit if you can. You will not return sad, that I can promise.

The white desert is actually a mixture of sand and salt. Its a shallow land, where it gets filled up with water (similar to Bonneville salt flats). After monsoon, the water dries up leaving crystallized salt. Especially to be enjoyed on a full moon night. Kala-Dungar or Black Hill, nearby gives a mesmerizing view if visited after monsoon. Hills on one side, partially dried up desert on the other, and filled up water. Looks a mixture of water meeting desert, being viewed from hill.

@@CineDesi they live peacefully with humans. They eat other wild animals in the forest. There are different areas where Lions live and where humans live. Humans just go to their areas to watch them and come back to our territory.

A huge earthquake happened in Gujarat in 2001 in Bhuj town of 7.7 intensity on the republic day. Around 13,000 got killed. It was one of the deadliest disaster in Indian history.

The first one is Rann of Kutch (a salt marsh in Thar desert),, It's just amazingly beautiful, You might feel like out of this world.. But temperature is really harsh (49.5 °C in summer to 0 °C in winter) Second one is Somnath Temple (one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Shiva).... Attacked many times by foreign invaders (Al-Junayd, Mahmud of Ghazni, Alauddin Khalji, Zafar Khan, Portuguese invaders, Aurangzeb),, they destroyed it again and again, but they failed to destroy the spirit of Sanatan Dharma.. Third one is Gir forest National park,,,, Here wild and human can interact with each other...

Kutch is the white dessert and every year there is festive called rann utsav on full moon to see the white sand glowing in the moon light..thousands of people come to see that..there are camps set up and also traditional folk dance performances happen there

@JABY (about desert) There's kind of festival that takes place every year during winter which is called 'Ranotsav'. Everything is arranged during this festival & tents(with a pinch of luxury) are built for people to stay...you can go there in other seasons as well but there won't be festival going on during that period...still you can see other things in that time.

I felt several times earthquake in East Bengal... Specially in the year of 2015, 2016.... Though the epicenter was in Nepal...but still it was very high on Richter's scale...n Nepal n north of West Bengal suffered the most....

I m from Kutch Gujarat. And that white sand is all salt . It’s called white desert 🐪. It’s all part of ocean when water dry in hot season layer of salt is formed on top and on full moon night the beauty is just mind blowing. Everything turns blue during full moon.

You tried to do a video on Gujarat and earthquake happened, how much this state has suffered and Everytime it rises like a phoenix. The first one was 'Rann of Kutch' , not technically a desert. It's beautiful..don't worry a sea beach is nearby. Second one was Somnath Temple, it was attacked by Mahmud , multiple times, perhaps more than 9 or 10 times, and they looted the gold in it and it was rebuild again and again.Such a beauty. Third one shows our very own Asiatic Lion, our pride..and how harmoniously people live with them, in fact they are so protective of the Lions that the villagers could sacrifice themselves for their sake. Gujarat is truly beautiful and it can never be destroyed, as many times, it's enemies desire it to do so, it will again get back on it's feet within no time. 😊

There is a fair or festival going on in White Desert Kutch every winter.. like from October 2019 to February 2020 this year. And like many people go around and live in tants and there are some traditional folk dancers, delicious food and fun time... like camping in desert... This place is definitely cool place to visit!
