Yes this I see as something that is debated on and everyone has their point of view. I agree that you should not necessary show the world what you have and I would say that I don't show the world everything I do have. There is a point though if you are working on a RU-vid channel about this type of stuff that you have to make on what you are willing to show and what you are not going to show. When it came to this video I thought back on when I would watch ammo stockpile videos and how I enjoyed them and it brought me some enjoyable minutes so part of making this video was that hopefully as others have done for me I could do for others. It was 2 years ago, dude. 2 years ago based on manufacturing demand, supply and logistics doesn't remotely effect the supply today and your ability to purchase today. The Supply and Demand curves have a much shorter lifecycle. Going to take a long time going through all that with "bolt action" hunting fire arms :) since I'm sure you probably lost all the semis in the ocean when you were out fishing that time.... man, seriously, glad you were able to stock up before the ammo laws kicked in. But really... you also have to consider what it would take to move all that in a true without law type scenario. you'd need a semi truck. I hope you stock up on diesel as well.
I still have ammo I hoarded from the obama years. Several crates of 7n6 5.45x39, a few crates of 7.62x54r. A dozen sealed spam cans of yugoslavian m67 7.62x39. Ammo dated from the early 70s up to the mid 90s.

@@elisscaliving5864 When according to the video date this guy's stash that was purchased 2 yrs ago during record low prices when 223 and 9mm were $16/100 rounds and what looks to be $15,000 in ammo at those prices is now worth $30,000 someone's laughing and my guess is that it's not you. If you didn't take advantage of that time when you had the chance you've no one to blame but yourself you'll probably never see prices that low again.....Enjoy.
This is a beautiful sight to see. Pretty bold for a California resident to show. A testament to no matter how strict of gun laws you have in your state, you never give up hope and never stop fighting for your right to keep and bear arms.
Dude!!....You got more ammo than my whole pltoon in Iraq back '05,and we were loaded for bear,just me,I used to carry 14 5.56 mags and 6 9mm so you can imagine the rest of us,but this....this is a whole new level of awesomeness!
I saw the writing on the walls when the so called Assault weapons and High capacity mag Ban passed in 1994 and started prepping and I always try and purchase military surplus because 7.62 nato, 5.56 9mm.45acp and 50 cal rounds are sealed around the primers and the bullets, I have got 40S&W that is sealed the same way and also buy spare weapon parts I can put together around 17 AR-15 with all of the extra parts I have purchased and don't forget magazines and buy extra followers and springs

@@pilotsebastian I was thinking about this video when reading these comments. Thanks for posting. Not many people realize ammo in a open environment (ie: not in a barrel.) are mostly harmless. The fire would kill you far before the ammo had a chance to even try and penetrate your skin.

Inspired by this vid I went and did a quick inventory of my own stockpile. Since I practice a lot I always buy in bulk. Came up with 15000 rounds... Ok, ok, they are .177 diabolo pellets for my HW 40 PCA... Cheers from Germany!
1)Don't touch it with your hands (you carry oils that corrode and tarnish the brass) 2) label your cans so you dont have to open ( less exposure to moisture is best) 3) invest in silica packets and drop them inside the can so they suck up moisture 4) store in cool dry place
You're the first person I've ever seen online who has equal or more ammo than I do. I stayed away from steel case except for 7.62x39 and I have far more .22lr simply because that's how I got into guns. In the beginning, I bought a ton of ammo in bulk. Now I just try and spend$500 per month on it as a minimum. Well done on your preparedness. Leave California.

Great stockpile man, definitely one of the best I’ve seen over the years. 2 things I hope you realize, 1. You don’t want loose ammo in those cans, gets loud and annoying. Hope you have a few hundred mags for all the calibers as well. Loose ammo won’t mean shit if you’re taking fire, load mags and stockpile those as well. 2. There’s a big difference between a SHTF PREPPER and a SHTF SURVIVALIST. Don’t show people what you have, name and address are public records. You’re basically stockpiling things for the SURVIVALIST down the block...

I have 1000 rounds of 9mm and I'm happy to have that much. 1000 rounds of 5.56 600 rounds of 45 600 round of 30-06 250 rounds .308 10000k rounds of .22 300 rounds of .40sw and 1000s of 12 gauge. All I know is that I'm using the 12 gauge first and then going to the brass. I'm not even practicing anymore because frankly this is emergency ammo. Sad but at least I know to make every shot count and I'll survive at least a week in the apocalypse 😆 🤣

California is a very nice place to live and don't have the worries that other free states have but it does have its cons too. Its very expensive to live here and the laws suck here. The Weather is the best and natural disasters are very slim compared to the rest of the nation which happens every year. Its super rare for California to get hit by something big and its not every year like in most other places.

I live in montana so my stock pile is similar only in .308 and alot of revolver .44 and .357, we don't have neighbors. I also think people underestimate the need for stock piling hunting ammunition it is very effective on soft bodied targets, and is usually available unlike some of the milspec. Fmj is great for barriers and what not but ain't nothing like a soft point or ballistic tip on soft stuff!!!

He bought it all two years ago when this video was made. Seriously though people who didn't prepare ahead of time make up the majority of panic buyers willing to pay these current prices. In other words if you didn't stock up ahead of time then you and people like you are the reason you can't find ammo.
Man, if I couldn't order ammo through the mail because my state says I can't I would move to another state. In fact I left California and never looked back.

You're awesome for planning ahead. Starting in July you gotta pass a background check to buy ammo. From what I looked into, can't buy ammo for a weapon you don't own registered to you. Sucks balls for us law bidding gun owners. Walmart is probably going to stop selling ammo to avoid the hassle. They definitely have better prices.
