Testing the new Ammo6 V9 silikonemoulds for making slugs. I use hotglue but you can use other types of casting material, like candle wax and epoxy resin etc. You can buy them from www.homedefence-24.com
Looking forward to receiving an HDR .50, 7.5 juole here in the states. Thanks to your informative testings, I am confident that the conversion offered by Homedefence-24 will satisfy my needs. Thank you for all of your fine efforts involving this particular revolver.😎👍
Smear the walls of the mold with hot glue. Put in lead or BB. Then fill with quick-set Floor Leveling Compound. Hard hitting. Cheers Rune. No need for lead or BB.
If you're in America. Or somewhere where you can access riot balls. That's what you should get. These homemade projectiles are a waste of time UNLESS IT'S ALL YOU CAN GET WHERE YOU LIVE. The hot glue ones will eventually deform and not be usable. He made some wax ones. Those will melt and will gum up your gun potentially. He lives in a cold climate so perhaps they're usable there. I don't know about you, but time is money for me. I will only invest my time into something if there is a meaningful payout in the end. I have tested almost every projectile on the market including onyx beads. The best projectiles for these are riot balls. Vinyl wrapped BBs. They aren't cheap though. However, I only buy the vinyl wrapped BB ones for defense. I ordered 500 of the all vinyl ones for Target practice. They're completely reusable. I haven't had to buy or make any projectiles in over a year and a half. Keep in mind, the cost of the mold is almost the cost of just getting riot balls.
Living in Norway you guys have big animals up there like in the United States like in the Northeast where I live. Vermont New Hampshire and Maine very rule. You need to have a rifle live up there. Do they make it difficult for people up there to have rifles I'm not talking about pistol. I have friends that live in just outside of town and get bears all the time. Cougars period and wolves are starting to come back down from Canada because people are not hunting as much
Hi. To buy a rifle you must either join a shooting club or get a hunting lisence. Not to hard to get a lisence for a rifle if you have the right reasons for buying one. At Svalbard (an island up north) has lots of polar bears. And there everyone must carry a rifle. No need to apply, just buy or rent one. If you dont want a rifle you must have a flaregun. Rules change from where in Norway you live...
Have you ever tried a Grimburg less lethal self defense pistol? They mod things like BurnaHDs and Pepperball guns and then resell them. I have one coming at the end of summer and I'll upload a review of it. Apparently the new model shoots at up to 44j
Mvh Rune :)
