Every doctor should be required to watch your interactions with your patients! I’ve been an RN for over 40 years and am impressed every time I watch your videos. You are compassionate, respectful, and take a holistic approach.

Why assume he’s the only doctor that does that? He’s being filmed, do you expect him to be abrupt and insensitive?

@@AnitaDilfair enough. In this example Dr Js treatment plan in fact in all his videos his interests is more inline with the vascularity/circulatory of our feet with the main culprit being diabeties. I can say with clarity that my own podiatrist doesnt go into the level of care that DrJ does and you can hear the patient and his wife affirm this in the video. Have a great day

I'm a primary care PA working in both family and internal medicine - but I'm also one of our diabetes educators. Dr. Jefferson - your videos make my heart sing. The way you educate your patients, the meticulous care you show to their feet, the time you spend with them and actually LISTEN as you work - would that you were closer to my area so I could refer all of my patients to you. At the very least, now I take special care in examining all of my diabetic patients' feet so I know when to refer sooner before problems arise. Thanks for all you do, sir - excellent work as always 🎉

Dr J, I live in Perth Western Australia and i want to say you are not just a podiatrist, no sir. I have noticed over the years your interests are in circulatory/vascularity of patients feet and number one culprit which is diabities. I feel you have a lot higher understanding of vascularity in patients feet and your scope of understanding and treatment plans is inline with vascular surgeons and i commend you highly. I work in a hospital myself as a O.R tech and one of my buddies is diabetic insulin depenent and his dr has changed his medication to the new insulin as metioned in your vid with your patient here. And i can say with clarity over here in Australia that new type of insulin is only availible for diabetic patients only for the same reason that other non diabetic patients were on it too to loose weight. Love your vidio very educational tool for other doctors/, med students in the field. Now i need to go book in to see my own podiatrist and get my orthotics looked at its been a year for me. Keep up the great work mate and keep asking those questions and having those conversations with your patients ❤ because you care. Regards Robin Tana Western Australia

The doc was able to save my foot and I have been living a normal life and now know how to deal with my PAD and diabetes. I hvae been watching your videos for the past 2 months. I like how you relate to your patients and how you are able to set their minds at ease while you work to resolve their issues. Dr. Jefferson takes good care of his patients. Off course he treats their feet but there is an even, dare I say more important thing he does. Thats taking the time to talk to his patients, explain what is happening in language that lay people understand. Being close to the patient and treating the problem in a holistic way is just as important as informing about and preventing illness. In this case good interaction with the patient can prevent amputations or worse. A little side note: these elderly people seem so sweet. They make me think of my own grandparents. Especially the lady. Taking the lead and explaining everything to the doctor. I hope that with the care of dr. Jefferson the patient can keep his calluses under control.

I agree with this gentleman about other foot doctors. I took my father to a podiatrist and it was horrible. They didn’t really talk with us. They just cut his toenails and sent him on his way. Never said he had a fungal infection in his toenails and never set up another appointment. I was so upset with them that I said I could’ve done what they did and my father wouldn’t been charged for the rude service. I’m glad I found your videos. It has taught me a lot. So thank you.
