AMT V1 guitar preamp. Full review & The Ultimate Test 

Awesome demo of an awesome pedal (from the videos I've seen). I appreciate the depth you went into and going the extra mile to compare it to the real amp. Like you said, due to the variation in AC30s over the years (I bet if you compared a vintage AC30 and a brand new one they wouldn't sound identical) it doesn't sound exactly the same but the differences are subtle. In isolation I think it easily does a good enough job for gigging/recording. I read a forum post some time back from someone that owns an AC30 that also uses this pedal (I don't remember his reasoning, maybe volume when driven). He said it sounds just like his amp and that the only real difference was in how it reacts to pedals in front of it. Personally that wouldn't be of concern for me because I'd be using it for its own tones anyway.

Another great demo. Where I like the original Fender amp more than the F1 I prefer the sound of the V1 over the AC30.

Вокс звучит словно чуть более скомпресированно. Но разница настолько мала, что нивелируется эквалайзером. А в миксе и вовсе разницы не будет слышно. В который раз убеждаюсь, АМТ- отличные аппараты. Сам пользуюсь F1 и не нарадуюсь. Что для гитары, что для баса.

Thanks for this great demo of the AMT V1. This pedal caught my interest because of the Vox AC sound, parallel effects loop and the cab sim. The dual channel switching is a cool feature, but I'm not sure it will benefit me. I just wish the pedal would have different output jacks for simultaneous sending the signal to an amp as well as a PA, like the LA2 pedals. They should do an LA2 of this pedal with an extra middle eq knob and a parallel effects loop.

I've been enjoying your videos with the AMT pedals. I was wondering if you would be able to make a video when you use the V1 pedal and the S2 pedal together to make a 3 channel set up into the fx return of an amp. The S2 could provide a clean Fender sound, and the dirty Soldano sound, whereas the V1 could be used as a crunch sound. That setup would give you a clean Fender, crunch Vox, and high gain Soldano channel all from one amp. That would be amazing.

id like an r2 BUT i just dont get why i would need a v1 preamp?? can i not just put it in front of amp??

Could you please clarify what was the power amp when you compared the V1 vs the AC30?
