I got a chance to test an AMTAC can the other day. it was phenomenal. hands down vastly superior to the KAC QD can I was issued in the Marines. The AMTAC can was lighter, simpler, shorter on the muzzle end of an M-4, quieter, less gas in the face (granted the last to are subjective). I'm saving up for a CQB-M in 7.62

I don't see why not, It's rated for a 7.62x51 in semi auto, a 300 Blackout has a less pressure 55,000psi vs 7.62 has 62,000psi. Shooting Subsonic would be even less pressure.
A 30-06 rifle with a 5/8x24 thread pitch would be compatible with the Amtac SBR 762 and the Mantis-E. Depending on your rifle’s barrel it may be compatible with their reflex suppressors. What type of rifle are you looking at?
Avid customer here. I buy direct from their website and have it shipped to my FFL. All Amtac needs is good FFL contact to establish the transfer. From there you just handle the transfer and form 4.
@@woodrowcall3158 are the cans even quiet? I see the stats say it's only like 15-20 db reduction which is nothing. I'm just curious besides it being basically a big flash hider what's the deal. I wish someone would do a unsuppressed then suppressed comparison
@@s-48group39 I have compared it on the same host with a few different suppressors. Not the quietest can out there, but it makes shooting a +16” barreled 5.56 pleasant to shoot. It is quieter than a Sandman-K on the same host, and overall it has a pleasant tone for the shooter. I’ve had it paired with an 18” rifle at competition and several people commented that it was one of the quietest rifles they had heard compared to other suppressed rigs, and my 18”/suppressed matched or was under the overall length of other rifles with standard cans and shorter barrels. The AMTAC CQB isn’t the quietest can out there, but it is the quietest can I’ve seen that only adds 3.75” inches past the muzzle, and it is one of the cleanest cans I’ve ever seen in terms of gas blow back and residue.
@@woodrowcall3158 well unfortunately the sandman k is a hunk of shit lmao awful can to compare it too. And it being a 30 cal can doesn't help either. I would like to see the cqb-m on a 18" in comparison to like a AAC or like a Surefire or something of that nature. I'm basically looking at the cqb-m because I have a mk12 mod 1 but the AEM5 can seems to be impossible to find at the moment.
+09MTH , as long as your barrel is less than .76" diameter and has at least 6" of free overbarrel space behind the muzzle, our standard CQB line will work fine. If you have 4" overbarrel space, the CQBm line will work. If your barrel is less than .97" diameter, the SNIPER line will work.
My friend uses a CQBm on a Faxon pencil barrel. We ran 150 rounds through it over a relatively short amount of time (30 minutes) and we saw no discernible POI shift. The rifle belonged to my friend and he saw a slight POI shift downwards when he first mounted the suppressor, but it holds consistent after that. I am sure you'd be happy with your setup given the performance of BCM products.
