Railfan window view from the westbound Capitol Limited (train #29) from the Elkhart, Indiana station to the South Bend, Indiana station. The video was shot the morning of Saturday, July 30, 2022. The trackage is the Norfolk Southern (formerly Conrail, Penn Central, New York Central, Lake Shore & Michigan Southern) main line from Buffalo to Chicago (NYC's Water Level Route). Note the Elkhart Classification Yard, NS fuel pads, and the 5-track main through South Bend. Unfortunately, the quality of most of the video is poor due to filming directly into the rising sun and (as usual) a dirty window.
