Amtraks, Coasters, and BNSF action around San Diego on 9/21/16 & 12/19/16

So school has kept me super busy these last couple months, but during the fall semester of 2016 I was able to grab a couple shots of Amtraks, Coasters, and the BNSF National City Local on two separate days. September 21 I got out of school early so I had some time to kill and December 19 was a finals day so I had no further obligations. Most of these shots are from Old Town, with a few shots from Washington Street, Morena Blvd, and National City thrown in as well.

Hey Pat, great stuff. I always loved the look of the San Diego area. Glad to see there is still lots of passenger traffic on the areas rails. Loved the bit of shunting at the end. Those GP60s still sound mighty fine. Hope you and your family are well. Take care!

Thanks Trav! Yeah, there's certainly no shortage of passenger traffic down here. I wish the same could be said for freights, but that makes what little freight action there is, like the shunting movements, all the more special. Likewise for you and your family!

Bnsf trains are from 19:08-24:10

Thanks a lot Dean! Yeah things are well. Just been busy with other stuff. You know, I seriously need to railfan with you and xtremepadrefan again sometime! :D
