Having said that, my excitement and delight to share the stage with top-of-the-line percussionists, the ones that ace the craft of Layam, is simply indescribable. Vid Patri Satish Kumar, KanjiraMan (Vid Shree Sundarkumar) and Vid Chandrasekhara Sharma have not only elevated the spirit of this Thiruppugazh but have added a unique, refreshing, and groovy introduction to it.
