The Iowa DNR thought it would be a great idea to plant it for hedge row years ago , now cant get rid of it

Ugh.... yeah in Pennsylvania state tried to cultivate Autumn Olive for a food product they planted hundreds of Acres of the stuff and now it's all the way in California

Make it a product and let people harvest it to extinction. Honeysuckle tea, made from the flowers and young leaves tastes great and is listed as an herbal remedy for respiratory issues similar to Elderberry. (Note, I am not an herbalist nor other medical professional, so do your own reading 😊 ) Also supposed to be good firewood.

Yeah i made the mistake of letting something similar to this "its some kind of honeysuckle" grow on my chain link fence in back yard and now i can't get rid of it ive tried everything ive ever heard of to kill it and nothing works i have managed to knock it back a few times but it always comes back I'm thinking of setting fire to it it and keeping my water hose with me since it can't burn my metal fencing. Lmfao
