3:25 I like how he saved the kid even though she wasn’t a Garmillan. Shows that maybe not the entire species feels contempt towards the “second-class citizens”.
Yea, this dude is just extremely high strung, but is otherwise a decent guy. We just need to get him on whatever the Garmillan equivalent of "decaf" is called.
@@jabberwocky1790 It is literally a 50/50, just like with the nuke. You know that was one of the concerns right? One of the primary concerns when they were designing the first nuke for testing was that it would set the atmosphere on fire and everything would burn, but the decided the same as in this "Victory or Death".
@@ender_slayer3 knowing the current laws of physics, the wave motion energy could probably be used for making matter after the heat death of the universe and probably explain the Fermi Paradox why dyson spheres and mega structures don't exist.
@@addisonchow9798 That is of course assuming that the universe will only expand, a hypothesis that I tend to agree with is that eventually the universe at large will begin to contract. As for the Fermi Paradox it can be assumed from the lack of contact (or the sufficient evidence thereof) that there are no species with the level of technology capable of interstellar travel, it can be reasonably assumed that they are of an equal or inferior technology level to our own (which in it of itself is embarrassing seeing as how we are not even a level 1 on the standard Kardashev scale (though we are a type -3 meaning instead of going out we have gone in)) As far as Dyson Spheres are concerned, while an interesting mental exercise wholly impractical due to stellar drift and the high chance of stellar collision, however a Dyson Swarm, that being a donut shaped ring of artificial satellites in a synchronous orbit around the equator of the sun, would be entirely realistic and practical, although it would most likely require the extensive deconstruction of Mercury to create such a vast array of satellites, which would of course have the extreme benefits of the vast energy output of the sun. Creating such an array would also give us the opportunity to create a Stellar Engine, which is a superstructure that has the ability to physically move a star through space with everything in the system tethered to it via gravity. This would mean that we would not have to create massive FTL drives or similar things in order to colonize other systems. With a Stellar Engine we could move our home system and colonize another one with relative ease (especially compared to breaking the light speed barrier which is possible in general relativity, though extremely difficult and as of now impossible to achieve).
What makes it even more badass is that they decided to say f it and just charge in a a few hundred thousand gamilas ship that had no idea what the hell was going on
@@wufflemuffin9197 And that makes this anime so much better than Star Wars now. The enemy has no idea what their foe is planning. Good thing I found it, and I love it after 11 episodes into the remake. Can't wait to get to these parts in the video.
@@comraderoy6608 No, I mean other OP songs I've watched the OG series, Yamato 2, Dark Nebula, Final Yamato and Yamato 2220, they all used the same song Different music, yes, but the same lyrics
Now imagine Godzilla and Yamato teaming up against the Gamilon threat, Godzilla would be pissed at the Gamilons due to Thier planet bombs and get supercharged by radiation and imagine a huge battle sequence when the Yamato launches while a interplanetary missile streaks towards earth and the Gamilons deploy ships to distract Godzilla who has no trouble blasting the ships out of the sky. The Yamato launches and destroy the ultra menace missile heading towards Godzilla which in turn exploded and stunned a large portion of the attacking Gamilon fleet. The Yamato warps away in the cloud of the explosion while Godzilla randomly fires atomic breath to destroy the Gamilons. Godzilla may consider hitching a ride on the Yamato to pluto as a bunch of cells sticking to the ship. At pluto the cells will absorb the incoming radiation blasts of the reflex gun and Godzilla will lay waste to the Gamilon base and fly back to earth using nuclear breath after settling his score with the Gamilons.
It took me 10 viewings before noticing somebody slacked off in the 3D animation department at 1:17. Yamato was firing blasts, not a continuous beam. Yet as the tail end leaves the barrel, the blast continues to move alongside Yamato’s roll as if it’s firing in a beam.
imagine instead of the quite bad irl Type3(San Shikki) shell... it's the HE or AP... imagine how much destruction she would do with her 3× Triple-48cm dual-purpose Shock Cannon main guns
the YAMATO is truly the best of the best... it has the biggest guns... it has the strongest firepower... and it has the most elegant design and elegant style of war
If your new it's a spoiler and don't dare to read The storyline is not good the only thing that made sense is yuki mori death. Think about it that Yamato ship travels across that gigantic empire without any damage yet the powerful empire ships gets destroyed like fuel tank explosion. Also swear that I saw deslar dead three times yet how come he return ? Any way it's fiction.
Late reply but 1) the Garmilas ships are still using reactors to power their ship while Yamato use wave motion engine that take energy from space itself 2) Delser known he was gonna get assasinated so he asked someone to disguide as him to die on the ship instead, when his station try to fight Yamato but got deleted you can see a small object go out of it, thats his ship and the third time he die but im not sure if its for real
