I love this historical episode. We don't get pure historicals very often. I mean there was no aliens whatsoever it was crazy and delightful. At least I don't remember seeing any aliens.

Believe me. Everyone’s brain melted when this episode came out.

Oh, that melody, the one that played at the Doctor’s funeral) It’s one of the most beautiful and somehow both soothing and haunting soundtracks in DW, and very meaningful, too. No spoilers, of course (unless you want them, don’t try to research the soundtrack’s name), but it only plays in certain specific moments and leads to one specifically magnificent)

This is my favourite series of Dr Who, particularly this bit. And I love that Mark Sheppard and his Dad played the same character.

Not seen this episode or series in years. When i was watching ur reaction i genuinly FORGOT about the silence until the first one appeared on screen. Officially freaked out.

I love this era of doctor who so much. It really holds such a special place in my heart. Season 6 is off with a bang. The oval scene is just brilliant and I always found it funny as a kid.

Totally agree with the comments. Season 6 ranks among the best of Doctor Who. And my jaw dropped several times this season.

What things do you speak of, I remember nothing creepy in this episode. Its one of the less scary more tame mystery episodes.
