Amy Smart 2 Patriotic Blocks 

I have looked at so many patterns and watched so many videos to learn the Ohio Star and yours is the most understandable! Thank you.

I'm taking a class at my quilt shop (Sew Yeah in Las Vegas) on Tuesday and this is our project. Going to do the pillow top but use it as a table topper since my table is square. I about had a heart attack when I saw you sewing over those pins!

Loved the tutorial! The line of fabric is gorgeous. I fell in love with the pattern as well. I had to search for the fabric and was able to find enough for a table runner. Amy is so delightful to watch and her tips are very helpful!

Hi Amy. Great tutorial. The first quilt I ever made was your Christmas tree quilt. I learned I didn't have to buy yardage to make a big quilt, I could just buy fat quarters! That was about five years ago. Looking forward to making this pattern.

You are the first person I have seen to sew over a pin! When my mom was teaching me to sew she taught me it was okay to sew over pins. Years later, I am at a 4H function and I am sewing over pins and the other instructor totally lost it. What am I doing sewing over pins! I said it’s OK, because I have a Bernina. She was further offended being a Janome person. I had no idea I wasn’t supposed to do this. Occasionally I still do.
