Gave you all that you needed You cut but I'm bleeding And all of my strength that I gave to you I loved completely You lose then you leave me And all of my hope I left with you too But I gave my heart whole I did I gave my heart And although it's lost It is still beating And I gave my whole soul I did I gave my soul And although I'm broken I am still breathing I will sleep through the moments All the moments you've stolen All for my love I'll learn the truth That I gave my heart whole I did I gave my heart And although it's lost It is still beating And I gave my whole soul I did I gave my soul And although I'm broken I am still breathing
My father in law started watching this series down in Hampshire and told me about it. So I caught up and watched every week, loving this song. Unfortunately my father in law was in a car accident 7 weeks ago today and died from his injuries 3 days later, he never got to see it all. Still can’t stop listening to this song and now think of him every time. RIP Ken 💔😢
So sad. It's a tribute to you and your father-in-law that you now want this song to remember him by. It is beautiful and I'm sure he will always be in your heart. RIP. :-(
I know the song.I listen to It.I loved it and I cry every time.Do you know what the name of this song is?I can find it from the singer but I don't know the name of this song
My wife is not well and we have been married 46 years and the thought of losing her........then this beautiful song says everything for me i love you Aggie with all my heart and soul Ian
NAS BMX Im very sorry about Aggie being unwell. I’m sending warm healing prayers to you both and pray that she recovers and you have many more years together xx
I am beginning to think that Amy Wadge is one of the best song writers of this century. I can never tire of hearing her music. It seems so honest and genuine.
@@cocorees5 yes couldn't agree more, she should be known all over the world, you know she once worked with a very young ed Shereen, she thought him how to write songs.
It is a year since Aggie had the cancer op. So far so good and thank you to everyone who wished her well. 47 years married 50 years together and this song ......folks it makes me cry everytime Ian
Wishing you both all the best, I hope aggie is on the mend. Happiness is our only saviour, thank God u had that already and always will. God bless Ian ❤
Eve Myles, lives in my village, and is such a humble person. Deserves all her fame and applause. Enjoyed the series, and the brilliant music by Amy Wadge excellent all round
It's an *S4C* co-production with the *BBC* which was first shown on *S4C.* Like I keep saying to non-British people, not everything with a *BBC* logo is produced or shown by the *BBC.* Sometimes they're *BBC* shows. Sometimes they're co-productions with other networks like this is. Sometimes they're made by other networks altogether, for example *Poldark* is made by *ITV* but broadcast on *BBC One.* And sometimes they just license the worldwide distribution rights for shows owned and still shown by other networks in the UK or elsewhere, as it's easier to let the *BBC* do the work for them. There's countless *ITV* shows on DVD/Blu-Ray, or on non-British channels which are distributed by the *BBC* or other companies.
Eve Myles is a great actress.. Right along side an Academy Award winner...Wow.. "Keeping Faith" can only be described as an emotional roller-coaster ride...Eve is perfect...
My dear wife and I are celebrating our Golden Wedding anniversary on June 21st 2021. Danni suffered a stroke 7 years ago and developed vascular dementure. I cared for her until it was physically impossible for me to do so. She has been in a nursing home for the last 3 years and doesn't recognise me any more but I visit/skype her whenever permitted. Thank you Amy Wadge and others for the totally relevant song. I play it most nights so that I can get emotionally drained, sob my heart out and get a few hours sleep
This series came on when my partner of 20 years walked out and left me. Very sad at the time but 3 years later I met someone. 2 years later and we are still together. Happy endings ❤
This wonderful series was originally made in the Welsh language for bbc Wales. Discovered by many people on iplayer. Thank goodness, because it meant that it was popular enough to be re done in EnglishGreat drama, and fabulous song. Cant stop playing it.
Patricia Gee I'm afraid you're wrong there. It was made in English and Welsh at the same time. When a scene was completed in one language then they'd do the same scene in the other language. The first ever series to do this. Eve Miles had to learn Welsh as she was a non - speaker. The Welsh version was on the Welsh channel S4C and was called Un Bore Mercher which translates to One Wednesday Morning.
@@violet9486 I'm glad violet. You deserve to be happy and hope you are finding it. Does your husband mistreat you or he just absent in your life. Where are you from. Good luck violet
I cannot stopped listening to this song. It just completes a truly Fabulous series Keeping Faith, where everything is Superb! Production, photography, writing and of course! The Acting! Absolutely brilliant. If you haven't seen it, then you don't know what you're missing
This series should have a top award well written and beautiful acting. The singer Amy Wadge should be number one in any music chart with this song, the words are heart breaking but wonderful. I very recently lost my husband of 57 years the words in this song reduce me to tears, but in a lovely way for my memories.
I'm a Dane, and always felt a very strong connection to Celtic music. So the first time I heard this song, it was performed by Celtic Women. And it is probably the most beautiful song ever written. It just grabs my heart every time I hear it 💖
Such a stunning series and we're only on episode 2. Eve is captivating as is the rest of this wonderful cast. The writing, the cinematography, locations, music, and all the tiny details go to make this totally unmissable. We love it!
This is a fine series, and the music gets under your skin without you realising it. This track in particular, I can see it striking a chord with so many people - well done Amy!!
Yes the song is great but what about those beautiful harmony voices? They're haunting but I can't find out what they are singing. They start right at the beginning of each episode. Does anybody know? Jean Urquhart
I started watching this series because my Grandfather was from Wales. He came to Canada and made a wonderful life for himself. I feel close to him when I watch this series. Thank you from a grateful Canadian. Beautiful song ❤️
I watched this TV series when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer and the theme tune just resonated so much with the way I was feeling on a different level. It seemed to say everything I was feeling at the time. Just love this song, and yes I cry every time I listen to it.
An excellent addition to the BBC’s catalogue-classy, compelling drama, well acted and produced, and with a superb Eve Myles, the beautiful backdrop of Wales, and Amy Wadge’s haunting song.
DOES EVERYONE KNOW THAT EVE HAD TO LEARN WELSH FROM SCRATCH. TO DO THE WHOLE SERIES FOR S4C IN WELSH AND THEN IN ENGLISH TOO. HER HUSBAND IS THE ACTOR WHO ACTUALLY PLAYS EVAN. ITS COMING BACK FOR ANOTHER SERIES. CAN NOT WAIT. AMAZING TV.
Thanks Sharkie. I realise it's on iPlayer but not everybody can use that. I just hope it airs on the main BBC channel as not everybody is aware of it. Yes great series and still wondering how it will end. Cheers.
It's actually a simple song but the amazing strength of her songwriting and performance make me feel heartbroken for just listening. I haven't seen the show but it had better be amazing to deserve this wonderful, powerful song.
Brings me to tears....I have listened to this song so may times...and over and over again through relationships....I self harmed...but in the end I'm happy....sadness doesn't last people....breath....it will all work out xx
This song has haunted me since I saw the series first time, now am on third time, I wake in the night with this music on my mind. I hope it can win an award.
Amy Wadge is so underrated, this is such an amazing song and theme tune to the programme and for Eve. I'm sharing Amy Wadge other songs, I'm hoping Ed Sheeran gives her some credit too. Thank you Amy xx Keep going we believe in you xx
It is Amy Wadge who wrote / co-wrote the song with Laurence Love Greed, he did the music and Amy the lyrics and also sings the song. Sorry but the clues are in the video title and the info by vox pictures.
Watched Keeping Faith as a boxset, couldn't get anything done for the whole day! felt compelled to tell all my Family, friends and neighbours, Eve Myles is beautiful, story is excellent and Amy WAdge is very talented! I loved this so much ! please do it again...2nd series ASAP!!!!!
Lyrics guys ! Hope that I helped you! 🤘 Gave you all that you needed You cut but I'm bleeding And all of my strength that I gave to you I loved completely You lose then you leave me And all of my hope I left with you too But I gave my heart whole I did I gave my heart And although it's lost It is still beating And I gave my whole soul I did I gave my soul And although I'm broken I am still breathing I will sleep through the moments All the moments you've stolen All for my love I'll learn the truth That I gave my heart whole I did I gave my heart And although it's lost It is still beating And I gave my whole soul I did I gave my soul And although I'm broken I am still breathing
In November 2016 myself and my partner were brutally attacked for many hours I thought my fiancé was either dead or dying and this song captures completely how I felt at that time and afterwards when I was looking after the family. Thankfully we are all well on the mend physically and emotionally, but really love the song.
I watched all three series while off from work, my work colleague had been on at me to watch it as she said id love it, I love it, and I love this song also love steves song,

Had a meeting yesterday and my wife of 46 years has a hope . A operation to cure her. This heart wrenching song has been my hope my lifeline. Such beautiful lyrics and reminded an old man like me that loce mever dies ian
NAS BMX What a crock of shit, your a spotty teenage gaming addict who has put this shit on RU-vid to get some likes. ANYONE NOT CONVINCED THEN JUST CLICK ON THE PROFILE PICTURE AND LOOK AT HIS UPLOADS. SHAME ON YOU.

Glad you all like the song and series too. When I shared it with you all a week or two it has gone ballistic with now 74,000 plus views and growing.Keep at it and tell everybody to watch series and download song to make it a hitTrevor James, Shrewsbury.
I would just like to put on record the absolutely stunning series “Finding Faith “ brilliant cast, beautiful scenery but for me Eve Myles is so beautiful and a talented actress, she steals the series. Glad I moved to Wales 24 years ago. Jimmy (exiled Scouser)
A great drama has to be believable, first and foremost. The BBC has another hit series with 'Keeping Faith' on their hands and it's definitely down to the brilliant casting. Mixing in musical score for the small screen takes extra special talent and Amy Wadge has it in shed loads. Fantastic series, brilliant soundtrack. Thank you and a huge congratulations to all who contributed!
Beautiful song and brilliant series, Love this song, never heard of the artist but all credit to Amy Wadge, accompanied by an outstanding performance from Eve Myles as Faith, as usual.
