The world definitely missed out when the "jazz fused with R&B/Hip-Hop" sound was slowly entering pop radio only to be widely ignored. I remember when this type of production was starting to make rounds on various CD's & playlists in 2002. We were starting to slowly segue out of the futuristic y2k trend and dip more into nostalgic sounds. A shame this one did not take off. Like an unsung, snazzier version of disco.

She's at her best in her jazz element and in live performances. Not many artists sound better live as opposed to studio but Amy sounds better live to me than any other artist. I don't think she knew her talents.

Sad I didn't become a fan until recently. I feel like we had so much in common. Personality wise. She was so gifted and unique. There will never be anyone remotely like her. She mastered her art at a young age & lived a blessed life even in spite of the controversy that seemed to follow her. She will always be loved & greatly missed.

I personally don't think her unreleased songs should be made into another album, amy was such a perfectionist and liked her albums to have a particular order, cover picture, font etc I think putting out something that she has no creative control over is wrong. I also think these unreleased songs should be kept for the real fans, if you want to find them you can search on RU-vid instead of coming across it at random in a shop.
