Omg thank you so much!! This song is so special and I bet you listen to it all the time as a way to feel her love for you - cause she loved you probably more than anyone, besides Catriona & all of course, but you were her rock for so long and were TRULY helping her quit the booze and she was grateful - she started watching videos of herself that night and realizing her talent and I believe it's because you left again to show her she means too much to watch her hurt over & over, and it was helping her realize, I hope you can find peace knowing that and remember all the good times together. Your book was the most honest and real compared to all the others and you just keep sharing your memories with Amy, and that helps us fans heal too a bit. I hope your doing well and staying healthy! How many years is it? I'm on my 11th! We are amazing because we are beating the sad stats and helping others see they can get through it - you rock so much because your book will help others in that respect as well, I know its still bolstering my determination to stay clean - it really helped me in so many ways and I just can see why Amy adored you so much. Your voice is also angelic and marvelous and I always wanted to hear you two sing together - and your singing to each other! It made me cry the first time💕

How this song didn’t hit the stratosphere is beyond me. Both amazing. Tyler was a true friend to Amy. Read his book if you haven’t yet. Genuine guy.

The lyrics to this song SCREAM that Tyler was/is in love with her but she "keeps dating other guys, even though you're the best for me". So sad to not only lose your best friend but also the love, that you never had the chance to see if it could blossom. Maybe it could've even have saved her. Makes my heart tear just a little for the both of them. Unfortunately when you don't fully love yourself you seek out partners who project that back to you. So the fact that he truly loved her and would've helped her, made her brain put up the toxic walls while [probably] screaming "you don't deserve him or happiness. Eventually he'll just leave you & break your heart like all if the others." It's that voice in your mind that's always belittling you & f-ing you over, it usually stems from abuse. Anyway so sorry fir him, with her anniversary coming up no less. I truly hope his book helps in setting her spirit fully free with the truth of how it all happened and unfortunately ended. God speed friend

Just finished your book, my husband got it for Christmas 2022 and I have been hooked nightly after work. I have been through so many emotions reading your story, I finished the final chapter last night. Thank you for sharing something so very personal with the world, we all get to see the real Amy because of you, God bless her and you as you carry her memory for the remainder of you days, always knowing you were the very best friend any girl could have, you ended the book with the line that you were the luckiest boy in the world, I think she too was the luckiest girl to have you. This is so beautiful. I’m so glad you two recorded this. It can never unexist, just like Amy. I will always miss Amy. My best friend of nearly 20 years really started to get close when we started harmonizing with Amy together. I’m gay and she was kind of homophobic at the time- even so, Amy brought us right together. And that opened both of our eyes to a lot of things. I was so angry when she died. I was so excited to hear her grow & make music forever. I still miss her. (An unfortunate coincidence: my dad died suddenly on the same day, July 23rd, two years later.) … anyway, I’m learning “Best Friend” on guitar right now, to surprise my best friend. That was our favorite song to sing together. I love that you told each other how much you meant to each other. You sang about it. God- that is my dream. No one can ever take that from you. That love is real.
