I saw them play in Denver and I was in a pink dress surfin' all night and she SIGNED MY RECORD ON STAGE! You could really tell she loves what she does. She has such a pure soul... I LOVE YOU AMY!!!!
55 year old metal drummer. Popped up as a RU-vid suggestion. Prob listened to 200 hours in the last 3 weeks. Best part of music is discovering new bands.
Then check out C.O.F.F.I.N (their touring buddies); Private Function; Hard-Ons; Hoss; God; Bored!; Powedermonkeys; Cosmic Psychoes; Radio Birdman; The Saints; The Yes Men; Brother Brick; Asteroid B-612; Johnny Casino; Leadfinger; etc etc etc etc. So many epic bands from Aus.
I lived in the same house as the cosmic psyco's and radio bird man I remember once the nasty cops started to bash rob young lead singer of bird Man they thought he was me (mistaken identity) wild days on the south Coast of nsw 🤙🤙
@@tdtm82 fuck yeah same died pretty use to live on the next street over they took off with all the house furniture of the place they rented this all went down at Coledale 😂 🤙🤙
I know how different the song "BIG DREAMS" might feel for some. But, it's sooooo amazing! And, i'm proud that AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS are experimenting with their music and tapping into this side of 'em! LOVE IT SMMM
Absolutely adore Amy and the story about the whole band 'growing up' together, sharing a house and sharing hotel rooms. What an amazing group of humans
I saw them last year in Oakland and Fresno and they blew the socks off the entire crowd. The Fresno show was one of the best shows I saw all year. Plus the band is SO nice, and you can tell they are tight and really care about each other. Their opening band, Die Spitz, were also incredible, and there was a real positive vibe from everyone. They love what they do and I am happy to love them right back!
Saw Amy and the Lads play at The Forum in Melbs, July 22. They blew my socks off. Soooo much energy!!!!! They just keep getting better each album. Keep up the fabulous work 🎉
Bailin on me, Do it Do it & Me and the Girls, in particular, all getting me extra excited for the band's evolution.on this new album. Roll on the live shows!!
I have a few regrets in life but one of my biggest is messing up my opportunity to grab a pic with Declan. I saw Amyl and The Sniffers at the Falls Festival in Fremantle. They played directly after The Wiggles 👌🏻I was heading to merch stand when I realised Gus and Declan were walking in my direction. I went total middle aged fan girl and asked for a pic and Gus obliged. I was a little overwhelmed and grateful and completely aware of their personal space and privacy so I didn't want to take any more of their time so didn't think that Declan was down for a pic. I walked off and when I looked back Declan was just standing there, looking rejected. I should have gone back over but I didn't because Im a basket case🫠 It was me Declan. Not you ! 😂
Top interview, U guys rock, and u know whats goin on, Amy is gorgeous, so open and honest, I love how they feel the songs vibe, true muscos, Dec does cut some sic solos too, would definitely see them again 💜❤️💜❤️
Band of geniusus. Not a single song is shit. Since they came to montreal, there everywhere for me. Cant listen to anything but them if i need a pep talk. YOURE IN MY HEAD, DOING THE WORK!
I've been listening to this band and loving this band since they were just putting out a few songs on bandcamp and dont believe they even had a full record yet. I love how they are exploring and growing on this album. However... not loving the production on this album. The sound is way off imo, something with how it was mixed, i can't put my finger on it yet but it makes the album hard to listen to and diminishes the sound that they had developed as a band. Again love the slower songs, the playfulness, etc... but the sound mixing just doesn't say Amyl and the Sniffers to me and it kinda feels like a loss.
Everyone has an opinion and music is a subjective thing, but to put a band down and offer up no alternatives for the readers of your negative comments says more about you tgan anything.
