wow i always thought victoria was kinda like a trophy wife/gf you know just there to look good, but shes the complete package she quick witted , funny, and takes the insults with a smile. what really impressed me was when she was defending her friend sporty. quite a catch beckham
***** Ehh, I wouldn't say sub-mediocre. A lot of what goes into being a celebrity is dealing with shit you and I don't have to deal with. Beckham is iconic in football and Posh is also somewhat of an icon within music. It takes guts, sacrifice and a fuck ton of effort to get where they have gotten. I would like to see you try that.

Totally agree, and yet she got so self-conscious about her smile, we never really saw it again. Her laughing @7:45 was just so natural and so damn sexy!
This was a masterclass. Got the tone just right for the interviewees, fantastic set ups and payoffs, and they took the jokes like champs. Such a pleasure to see this good natured ribbing.

iamnotjack According to Victoria in later interviews, Beckham did have some good responses but they were edited out of the version that aired on TV. The Beckhams didn't mind. Ali G was their favourite program - they were just happy to meet him.
nobby5409 Comic Relief fundraising drive is live. But the interview was pre-taped and edited to fit the time slot / include the funniest parts (just like Ali G's interviews were edited when he had his TV show).
This is a brilliant, brilliant interview. The way he insults them without insulting them, goes back and forth between the two and keeps them both in on the joke so they enjoy it as much as the audience does is pure genius. Also, this video may be why Victoria gets so much stick these days. I'm sure she does smile, but you rarely see her doing it in pictures and this video proves she has got an absolutely gorgeous smile if she would care to use it.
Greatest interview of all time and the beckhams are great sports for doin it. People who hate beckham are jealous and he has never put a foot wrong in being a dad and a proffesional. Respect him guys

This is adorable on every level. She has the best, most earnest smile I have ever seen, Beckham seems to be right there for her (note that little shoulder squeeze at the "Mariah Carey" dig, and she's so up front to defend him and her friends. It's just so freaking cute.
i always thought of her as miserable spice cos i never seen her smile except for the first time in this vid .And she she seems really sweet and lovely and actually has a sense of humour , well done girl !

this dude is brilliant. i can't understand why people (the ones interviewed) would think or fall for the trick that he is a fool. he is asking silly things but when he makes satirical questions, it already proves he is not a fool. a fool cannot make a valid argument.
you can pause a frame and look at him in any second of the video and see it in his eyes. he had all of this planned out perfectly to be one of his best roasts ever to happen. plus he actually enjoyed it I can tell he did. "he started to form sentences" "and what about Brooklyn" one of the best lines here..
Whenever I think of Sacha Baron Cohen I go watch this interview again. The timing and the jokes are just perfect. I guess he is also very lucky they fall for his traps every time. :)
This is the most hilarious interview I have ever heard! It is awesome and they are fantastic sports for doing it. They are really fun and give as good as they get, making this really an awesome interview...plus Ali G really is good to keep his composure all interview long!
Sacha Baron Cohen honestly has got to be one of the best comedians out there. The way he gets so involved into his characters to the point where he becomes his characters is insane. Respect
