A short afternoon fly fishing for brown trout at Kentmere Tarn in the Cumbrian Lake District. Two lovely brown trout landed (and returned) and a number of other fish coming off the hook.
Another great session of fly fishing in the Lake District.
Fly fishing in the Lake District it typified by beautiful remote locations in breath-taking scenery.
Kentmere Tarn is manged by Staveley Angling Association and membership and day tickets for the tarn and upper River Kent are available form the post office in Staveley.
Waders are not needed at the tarn but wellingtons are recommended to get through the muddy parts of the path round the tarn.
